Uber from the stadium recommendations

Recommended Posts

Hey everybody!

My buddies and I are headed up from Nashville for the MNF game. We arrive Saturday afternoon..flying in.

my question is how hard is it to get an Uber from the stadium back to the casinos where we are staying? Should we just rent a car?

Thanks!

I've done the Uber to the airport for a 750 flight. Game was over + back to lots to eat and chill 30 min). Then went to the ECC Uber lot to catch an Uber. Peak pricing it was high.

Took about 30-45 min to get an Uber to take me. Several cancelled en route (I was told because the surge price and traffic many try to get there but too late to get to pickups with traffic).

I suggest getting an Uber but not planning on leaving until 630ish. You'll save time and money.

I tried getting an Uber after a game last year, it was a pretty big mess, with long waits, high prices (and as some have said, there's no guarantee your driver won't cancel after the wait.) I'd avoid it for a night game unless you're ok leaving very late, or have some other backup plan.

Have you checked with your hotel to see if they have a shuttle?  Renting a car is definitely not a bad option if someone in your party will be ok to drive.

Rent a car. It'll probably cheaper and less of a headache.

I am going to my first game vs Green Bay I cant wait! I was told to do the Rally Bus from downtown to the game and back. I just checked it looks like they have 1 more bus available to book. Its $50 per person there and back, BYOB on bus. Don't have to worry about getting uber after the game just go back to the party bus.

Check with Seneca Niagara.  I believe they provide transportation or they know how it is done. There is some organized way. I believe it is a bus. I just don't remember how it was done.  The Bills and Seneca Gaming are partners.

If you rent a car DO NOT drink and drive.  Not just because it is wrong.  They will get you.

I caught the rally bus from downtown for a game back in 2019…it was fine …and as you said you continue the party on the bus after the game

It won’t be “difficult” per se to get an Uber but it will take a long time and you’ll get surge pricing. If you’re going all the way back to niagara falls that’ll be pricey. I’d just rent a car.

My sister said she does the trip you are making from Seneca Niagara to Highmark a couple times a year.  Uber is easy to get to the stadium.  It is a little tougher getting out, but not that hard.  Uber is best way, but Rally Bus is very good and easy too.

Rally bus leaves @2:30 PM on game day from Niagara Falls.  Only 17 seats left.  5 minute walk from casino.

You can't Uber to the stadium lot, you have to walk a little to get to/from stadium if you Uber.

dude, we take care of out of town tailgaters at the TBD Home Opener tailgate. (kinda funny i wrote that like i live in Buffalo, i live in Richmond VA LOL)

If you decide to rent a car, there will be a sigup thread up prolly about Tuesday of next week. Bring your beverage of choice, there will be plenty of food.

If you Uber, just have them get you to Hammers lot, and same as above bring your beverage and the food will all be taken care of.

I can assure you that you and boys will not go hungry!

PM with any questions

Uber to the MetLife in NJ from NYC was super easy. Getting back to NYC from Giants stadium was a nightmare.

That is EXACTLY what I would expect. Getting there is easy. Getting back? Not so much.

There is a Rally/Party Bus leaving from near my preferred hotel and they still have some seats available. That would be my choice, but right before I pulled the trigger on tix and airfare we took my mom to lunch, where she proceeded to fall and break her pelvis. I think I need to see her out of the hospital and into skilled nursing before I can commit. To look at me you’d think I was about 35, but my mother is almost 95. I hope she is settled there soon, and I can feel comfortable getting away.

If it were a 1:00 game it’s easier to hang out until you and Uber can find each other. After a Monday night game it may get late and tricky.

I want @McBean to know that this man speaks the truth (fairly often). They are kind and generous at the tailgate. I highly recommend the experience.

Google the articles of how Uber went after last year's prime time games. Folks stranded at the stadium until 2am and beyond.

I'd have everyone chip in for a cheap rental. Totally worth it.

Rent a scooter

You mean one of these?  0101024026718-rainbow-78cm-d513998276461

My nephew has season tickets to the Golden State Warriors in SF & he drops everyone off, parks some blocks away & comes back on a scooter.  After the game he gets the scooter back from the scooter storage area in the arena & goes back & gets the car & picks us up a couple of blocks from the arena.  Saves a lot on parking.

They have electric scooters all over Nashville.   Download the app (Bird, Spin, Lime, etc...), scan the QR code on the scooter and off you go.   It's fun as hell.
