SCBills
Thought he showed exactly what was needed to be shown to strike fear into opposing DC’s yesterday. 3
ddaryl
All our RBs looked real good yesterday. I think Cook's gonna do well, how well he does will depend on how he is at helping us get tough yards.
Heavy Kevi
I have this weird feeling about cook... That it almost seems like the bills are hiding him. Between reports of how great he's looked, my own eyes telling me he's dangerous, and the fact he's a rookie but has gotten SO few touches in the preseason, makes me think maybe they are holding their cards close to the vest and he's in for major playing time this year. Interesting that the rookie has less touches than the other RBs. Without looking at the stats, probably similar touches to Singletary but markedly less than moss (and of course blackshear). I would not be entirely surprised if moss was a surprise cut. 5 2 1 2 1

A threat to both run and catch the ball well.
Big Turk
I can't wait to see him on a wheel route matched up against a LB and Allen drops it in the bucket 50 yards down field with the LB hopelessly trailing on the play and no safety in the picture 4 1 3
hemma
After yesterday, I’m starting to think the entire team is going to be a problem. 5 15

Roundybout
I think another poster made this point, but one thing I noticed yesterday is just how SMOOTH his running is. Singletary can cut too, but he seems to be more robotic with his cuts and acceleration while Cook is just buttery-smooth out there. I loved the pick and I think it's going to pay off nicely. 7
JerseyBills
I do see Kamara in his game but Motor n Moss look great. Shakir is so smooth too. They look like veterans out there 2

Spread the front 7 and force them to defend the edge and Singletary slashes up the middle for 5-10yrds. Play action off that and it’s easy first downs all day long. 5

James Cook is the type of back, in the modern NFL, you draft and potentially give a second contract too. Home run ability in the run game and WR skills. He lasted until late in RD2 because teams didn’t view him as a lead back, but he looks like a much better all-purpose RB than even I thought watching him at UGA. He even had a pass pro rep in the red/blue game where Bernard blew him up, but he was in the right spot … just needs some technique training and a year in S&C.

Miyagi-Do Karate
Cook has looked pretty good. The only guy who has looked better is future hall of famer Raheem Blackshear. 2 1
ColoradoBills
I really like what I see from Cook. What is going to be so funny to see is how this board has posters who melt down when he starts the season not dressing. Devin and Zack will dress to start the season and if Jones is dressing for STs it's a numbers game. Be patient Bills fans, we won't see a lot of him until later in the year. 6

I think you could see that change .. and I’m not saying give him a big contract. We can’t afford a Kamara contract on this team because we have a QB. Hence why I said potentially. That being said .. this is a new breed of RB. James Cook has legitimate WR skills. He isn’t Zeke, Chubb, Taylor or Henry and we should never ever consider paying one of them. If James Cook evolves to a point where half his snaps are in the backfield and half are in the slot or out wide, I think you start to view him differently.
