Back then being in "non-smoking" didn't mean that you weren't going to breathe cigarette smoke. Man , I miss those times.
Steptide
85 cents in 1975 is equivalent to about $4.60 today. Pretty good even by today's standards.

Rich Stadium Original
My dad had season tickest the first couple of seasons at Rich Stadium, and my memory may be off after fifty years, but I seem to remember end zone seats being $5.50, Club Level $7.00, Upper Deck $8.50, and the red seats protected from the overhang $13.00...so I guess the concessions prices are all relative. The prices go up from there. If you want say a rum and coke, you have to buy the whole bottle of rum. Now I imagine if the corporation is picking up the tab, indulge. I’ve been in the clubs before and I don’t remember having to buy an entire bottle for a mixed drink There’s not a bar in the concourse section of the clubs that lets you buy a mixed drink
ControllerOfPlanetX
No wonder I went to my local watering hole instead for a 30 cent draft.

That is another level of WTF are you charging? 4 Guinness (must buy 4), 6 Pepsi (must buy 6) and one substandard LaNova pizza was $165 plus tip. How much did they charge you for the clothes you had on? Hope they weren't too harsh on that
Billsatlastin2018
These absurd prices are why Tailgating was invented! Fill your boots on Eating & drinking before the game. Then, go in. 1
gonzo1105
My man at the concession stand was giving away hot dogs at the end of the game yesterday. I went to get a water because it was hot and ended up with a Water and 4 hot dogs for free leaving. I felt like a King then. 2 2

Nitro
As a teen it was affordable. I would go to games with my brother and with $5.00 we had enough to eat and drink during games.
LabattBlue
One of the top requests for the new stadium should be permanently banning Delaware North from having anything to do with food and beverage. 1 2
Wacka
Never bought beer in the stadium. Have one or two before and one after at the tailgate.

SoCal Deek
To this day I keep the ticket stub in my wallet from the Miami game when we broke the streak. A lower level ticket was $13.00. Not too shabby!

It wasn’t THAT long ago (1990) that you could smoke on a plane. The tide has turned there! I don’t think I even know anyone who smokes now. I expect you are refering only to tobacco.
