Why must we be turned on by women in the sports media? It's not like you are getting any...

I agree…was just responding to someone else. I much rather a woman who does great at her job and not there to be a pretty face. With all things being equal tho, it is TV and not radio so looks do indeed play a part and that goes for men and women. Just the reality.

The only star on that show is Brandt. Shrags is annoying but when Kay and Nate were there you could overlook it.

Now he has to try to carry the show and that’s not what anyone is looking for.

I disagree. The only star on that show was Nate. For me it has been on a downward spiral ever since he moved on. I find Shrags sort of bearable, Nate unbearable and while I think Kay was fine she never really stood out to me. Agree with those who have said MikeRob was the obvious replacement for Nate and I'm not sure why they never made that a permanent thing.

I meant Brandt is the only star NOW.

@GunnerBill yeah, yeah, we know you despise Brandt, but objectively speaking he's the only member of the GMFB cast right now who is truly marketable.

Man - I wonder if someone gave her bad advice - or there was something else going on - but this is not a step up

I think she overplayed her hand with Amazon. They called her bluff and moved on. That said, while she may not be more visible from a content perspective, don’t underestimate that gambling $$$. More of these casinos and sports books are trying to get more involved from a media perspective. Especially now that they are finally becoming socially acceptable to the sports leagues. I read somewhere a while back that one of them (Caesar’s?) was considering going after Schefter before he re-signed with ESPN. Not exactly a media superstar, but I think that’s what Trey Wingo did when he left ESPN.

It’s definitely a step up money wise.

She went with the money. NFL network doesn’t pay everyone millions.

What happened to her Amazon gig?

Couldn't "come to terms". AKA she wanted too many moneys

Nice move by Kay and her agent.  Went from a high profile 5 day a week gig on the NFL network to…

some role on a betting channel, and a Dick’s Sporting Goods commercial.

Good luck twiggy.

Now that she’s moved to a pay cable channel no one will watch she may take her relationship with gronk to the next level live on TV for ratings.

the upside, her. The downside gronk. I’ll have to watch and then gouge my eyes out.
