I'm worried about any NFL player once they get the wrong side of 30, but it is definitely more of a worry in a long speed position like corner where they have to run with some of these freakishly athletic young NFL receivers. The advantage for Haden on the Bills is he would be asked to do far less man than he was in Pitt. When Pitt were in zone last year he still looked serviceable to good. Because it's truly wishful thinking to assume White is going to be ready at the start of the season or anywhere close to 100%. He probably won't come back until midseason and be close to his old self until December/January if that. Therefore there is no way this team is going into the season with Jackson and and a rookie DB as their starting tandem after overhauling the dline once again making a splash with Von Miller. Yea, and it is the one position on the entire team that I think McD, Beane, and the rest of the staff can find and coach up a player through the draft. They will have the rookie ready. Look at White, Jackson, and Wallace. All played their rookie year and played pretty good. Jackson and Wallace were not high draft picks. I expect at least a first or second on CB. We as fans have limited opportunity to see and critique these guys. The coaching staff on the other hand may know something we don’t? Trust the process for me.
