Idk, I get what your saying, but this is much deeper than we think in my opinion. Also, this applies to both Zimmer and Harry. Go back to 2020, Zimmer was a steadying force. Once you make the 53 and start seeing regular playing time, it doesn’t matter if you’re ERFA, UDFA, RFA, 4-7th rounds. Play and go get paid. No he hasn't. MasterStrategist Posted March 6, 2022 Share Posted March 6, 2022 Regardless if OP is believable or not, Harry has been a "fringe" starter for us. He's also been a healthy scratch many times. Yes, he finished out the final 6 games playing as our starter, with improved performance. But our goal should be to get better in the trenches. Harry is not that, IMO, and not a physical type player either. While the other, has been a healthy scratch and benched numerous times over the past 2 years. Our defence is already filled with players who are not great and making too much money. Since he opted out the covid year, the end of his deal did not coincide with Harry’s FA year the way Beane planned. He could retire though. Technically they could cut him but only save 1.5 on the cap, would be cheaper to keep him as a backup.
