I'd hate to be a Jags fan right now. O'brien tried to get himself fired by making awful trades and they kept giving him more power and now somehow he's getting interviews?  I don't understand how some of these billionaires made their money with moves like this.

BOB is a good coach and a terrible GM. Wouldn’t be my first choice but there is some merit in terms of proven winner.

He very well may be a good coach but how he handled the exit from the Texans and literally setting the team back years with his work is enough to not hire him for this job. They need to get the perfect hire so they don't ruin Lawrence. They need a stable guy on the upswing.

The "laugh" emoji isn't a strong enough reaction to this news.

Because oftentimes the privileged rely upon well-established networks of privilege and pre-established protocols, rather than creative solutions to complex problems.

I mean, he wasnt a terrible HC. Terrible GM and kind of an #######.

He also developed Watson and they have a young QB who needs some development

Or Watson developed because he was good and O'Brien happened to be there at the time.

I didn't know egomaniacs count as minority interviews

Wouldn't that be the majority in the NFL?

I really wouldn't give him too much credit for developing Watson. He was a pro ready qb from the moment he left Clemson. The only reason O'Brien won multiple division titles is the AFC South was straight trash during his tenure.

He was never impressive at all, even as a HC. Game management, play calling, leadership...all mediocre
