I really think these are the same people who want the Dolphins in our division.  They are stuck in this 90's legacy thinking and it doesn't make sense anymore.  If you play in bad weather, a dome lets your run or pass.  If you play outdoors in bad weather, running becomes the primary option.  It was great when we had Thurman, but why make ourselves one dimensional?

Besides money, I can't see a con to a dome

They had Andre Reed, James Lofton, Bill Brooks and Don Bebee too.  They threw the rock in the elements too.

Execute better than the other team you win.  Period.

The way people are around here...

When the Bills get a new open air stadium in OP they will still complain 😁

PS&E already said what it’s going to be and yet... LoL

I wanted the stadium downtown.  They stated it was going in Orchard Park.  I don’t keep complaining about the stadium downtown.

It’s like witnessing the stages of grief.  Folks are still in the bargaining stage I guess.

I don't care where it is as long as 2 things happen.

1. Minimize or reduce the wind, enhancing Josh's ability to win a championship.

2. Absolutely guaranteed the greatest tailgaters in the history of sports have ample area to feast, break tables and squirt ketchup.

I do lean toward the dome argument but I also appreciate the allure of an open stadium experience.

A downtown domed stadium would be nice in that it would allow for additional events throughout the year. But that’s almost certainly not cost effective, so it’ll be an open air in the OP.

Personally I don’t care to go through the hassle and expense of going to games.  One or two a season of college and/or pro is enough for me.  Surprisingly, I absolutely love the nasty weather games, but few others seem to.

I like the Seattle Stadium a lot. Roofed over most of the seats except for the playing field and end zones. Great Lines with the cantilevered upper deck which puts spectators closer to the field. Seats 65K+. Loud as hell.   Big concourses that are shut to the weather. Not much end zone seating. If Open air is the plan. I hope it's similar.

People Vastly overestimate how many things will actually be there throughout the year

There's not a lot of activities planned for massive stadiums around the country

Jerry world the biggest and best stadium in the world.. has 7 planned events for 2022

There isn't alot of stadium tours going on

They could build something that has a roof over the seating but is open over the field. I guess I would prefer something like that. Something to keep the bulk of the rain and snow off the fans.

I don't feel super strongly about dome or no dome. I like both ideas. I certainly like the outdoors games and even the occasional extreme weather game is fun. But I get those who don't want to deal with that.

The thing I do not like about dome stadiums is they blast so much sound through the speakers. It is annoying and hurts my ears. That's not as much of an issue outdoors since the artificial sound escapes out of the stadium more.

I also want a team that can learn how to deal with the elements and use it to their advantage. If Josh keeps playing in these types of games he will get better at it. There's always a chance that you'll have those types of games in the playoffs.

I live near Athens, GA so I'm never going to be a season ticket holder. That said, I think Orchard Park and a Dome is the best combination. PSL's are standard nowadays, but the whole idea seems immoral to me, so I don't agree to any of it. As close to zero would be my preference.

That is awesome Dr. Who.

I live near Athens Ga too

Yeah, that was what I was driving at, but didn’t make totally clear.  Lots of extra cost, but not much in the way of extra revenue.

I saw this in the lightest way possible, but roughly how old are you?  I agree with what you're saying, except for standing in the lower level, but it does come off as very "Get off my lawn."

It’s actually a huge pet peeve of mine as well. You purchased the right to sit in the seat. Why are you standing the entire game? There are people behind you that may want to see the action without having to stand the entire time.
