We still should not struggle against the Jets without Brown or Milano....."should not" is the keyword.

I say sit Brown and Milano.  This is a bad Jets football team.

Agreed.  Sit Milano so he can be ready to play well into the 2nd quarter against NE before he gets hurt again.

This guy!  😂

Josh Allen playing the A-gap is not the dumbest idea I've heard though...

🤔

The simple fact that people are even the smallest bit worried shows this team is not a good team. Good teams don't make their fans nervous over a game against a team that has no wins.

Speaking strictly for myself, even in the Superbowl years the Bills had a team that made me nervous over a game against a team they ought to beat.

If the Jets get Darnold and Mims back, they could be a better team.

I had to pick up a back up D in fantasy this week....I picked up the Bills.

That ain't because I'm confident in the Bills D.

Jets offense should look better than it has with Darnold (if he plays) and their starting WRs

And yet this will fly under the radar and the national media and uninformed fans will still expect us to beat them in the same manner every other team has, regardless of how much better they are. "The Bills barely beat the Jets", "What's wrong with the Bills..."

Was just thinking the same thing. Its definitely setting up that way.

Brown never practices on Wednesday’s.

Not uniformly true.  I checked.  Though there is 1 week where he wasn't injured and got a rest day on Weds.  Another 1 week where he was full go Weds and DNP or limited later in week.

It's even setting up that way with our own fans.  "We have to win BIG on BOTH sides of the ball in this one to prove (whatever)"

Like I said elsewhere, Just Win.  This isn't rhythmic gymnastics.  There aren't style points.

basically 99% of the time i would agree with you but with how bad the jets have been i honestly think anything other than having our way with them is a very promising going forward. Team a close game with the jets up with how the whole team has looked over the last couple weeks and i think i'll finally start to panic a bit. i'm not there yet though.

I'm very big on stacking wins and being completely unapologetic about how they happened.... IMO this one is a little different.

You do you.  I don't care.  Just give us that "Vitamin W" and let other things take care of themselves.

Starting to worry about Brown, Knox, Milano.  Not sure we'll NEED them against the Jets, but I do think we will need them for the Pats (they may be down, but they seem to never really be out).  Hoping if these guys are off this week they are good to go for the Pats and onward.

So this is more promising than I expected.  Cam Lewis practiced although limited, Matt Milano also.

Am worried about John Brown, though.

I'll be surprised if we see him on Sunday.  He was limping all game versus the Chiefs.

He wasn’t effective because of the Injury. Couldn’t separate. I know he presents a downfield threat to open up Diggs but if the other team knows he can’t run it doesn’t matter. Just get him healthy, we need him down the stretch.

This is where I also disagree, they need to drop 35-40+ points on the Jets and finally get some sacks, turnovers, etc to regain confidence as a whole.

My gut feeling tells me though this will be another classic McClappy special where even if we jump out to a big lead early the team will disappear in the 2nd half, not try to get points before halftime, burn clock, etc and the final score will be much closer than it should be something like 27-17 like week one.

Bottom Line - Play a full 60 minute game against a garbage team, get angry, run up the score and use it as opportunity work out all the kinks before the next slate of tough games ahead next 3 weeks if you truly have aspirations of being more than a one and done playoff team.

Style points aren’t worth anything...sure, it’s fun to see a blowout. They count the same in the end.
