Yes, I actually do Greg! Ya see? We have more in common than you’d think. And what I’ve learned (and really already knew) is that people are people and most are inherently good or want to be. There’s no difference at all caused by your circumstances or skin color. Blaming others for your position in life is no way to have a life.

Well Deek, you're right on everything here up until your last two sentences.

There are differences caused by circumstances and skin color. That's just a fact. That's what I'm asking you to acknowledge.

"Blaming" is not the right word. It is "acknowledging" or "accepting" that your position in life has been shaped by the forces and events that built this country and the many decisions made in many areas that have led to our present lives.

Really all I'm asking for is the acknowledgment of context.

Once again we agree, and I think you’d be surprised to find that just about everyone else agrees as well. But having black people screaming that all white people are racists is pretty much the same as white people fearing that all black people are criminals.

Preach it. It's reality. You won't find a ton of support on that from the others here, but you're getting it from me.

Trump is what American fascism looks like — fat, stupid, lazy, old, ignorant, racist and loudly proud of it

Kinda like most of PPP, come to think of it.

Yet here you are...

Just when I thought he had peaked at a novel QB rating system better than passer rating or QBR, he just continues to climb.

Do you think "objectivity" is real? What is an example of something that is objectively true?

At one point it was objectively true that the world was flat.

Which black people are screaming that all white people are racists? Also, it seems like you're fuzzy on how racism is defined and needs to be understood; it is critical we are on the same page and using the same definition. White people being racist and Black people being criminals are two identity choices made by the same person; the same group. It's cause and effect. I'm not talking about actual crime, like murder and rape and so on. (Btw, hopefully we agree - the police have earned no respect in their handling of rape cases, based on testimony of practically every woman alive who's had to interact with police on this and told their story) I'm talking about "Criminalized Black" as we've been talking about — the BS charges — the Stop & Frisk — the reason George Floyd or Trayvon Martin are being bothered by authority figures to begin with. They're guilty of being Black in White America.

Basically, White people need to just ... take a breath. Being called racist is not the same amount of damage as being affected by racism. First what's needed is sympathy. You seem to be generally sympathetic. And then next what's needed would be empathy. And if you can empathize, you know what you would want somebody else to do for you in this case. The very least we can all do is understand the problem. If we understand it, and appreciate the scale of it, and then understand our role in it, we can begin to imagine ways to challenge it. It's like being born into an evil empire. Maybe it's worked out OK; the Death Star didn't blow up your planet, maybe. It's like that a bit.

You brought up looting earlier, right?  Have you watched this clip yet?

The one arguable facist thing Trump did was let local governments employ fascist policies during the lockdowns. He obviously was against it, but he endorsed it reluctantly.  Seriously, those state orders were the closest thing to fascism this country has ever seen.

im not saying trump was responsible for them.

I'm not here to change hearts and minds, though that would be ideal. My main purpose is just to make sure that racists — do you deny the presence of racism on this board? — know they're hated.

Why is racism acceptable to you, is my question? You're chill about this whole thing. You think I'm way over the line. What should I do to chill out about racism, as you have?

Precisely. You are here to create agitation. Stirring the ***** so to speak.

Thats exactly what they’re doing in the name of “social justice”. They drown out the legitimate voices because they do not give a *****. It’s a coordinated effort to derail our society. Neighbor against neighbor manipulation. They divide on purpose. ***** them all.

How about silencing opposition opinions, Twitter and other social media do it constantly, censorship, like cancelling shows like Cops and Live PD, Lego, pulling kits that have anything to do with the police. Refusing to show movies like Gone with the Wind, removing Confederate monuments

It’s pathetic and politicians are currently jockeying for position for November. That’s all they’re doing. A majority of left and right leaning politicians who have any clout to make policy; never have been nor ever will be doing so in the best interest of the people.

Right now, their claim of grandiose posturing is special affects for November. They’ve identified their scapegoats and are able to prop themselves up by pushing those scapegoats down. Anyone who opposes their broadway performances has easily been removed for the equation for decades. If you win a seat in local, state or federal government and do not conform to their processes and ideals; you are out. It’s a game and we always lose.

They program people to think and believe things that are not true and this pins neighbor against neighbor. Simple politics.

It doesn’t matter if you’re black, white, red, green, blue, purple or yellow; they’ll find a way to convince you that everyone else is against you and your only hope is in their ability to govern. You vote them in; and they give zero ***** until it’s time to vote again.

Lol.  If you can't explain why, you're probably wrong.

But I can confirm the other side has exhibited all the symptoms of totalitarianism, communism, and fascism.

They want to rewrite Western Civilization---tearing down statues of Churchill (actually fought real fascists) is one of countless examples demonstrating what they think about it.  Especially the United States.  Out Founders were all racists thus invalidating the Constitution.

Banning movies and any art not "woke" enough.

Plays identify politics to advance the agenda.  This one is tricky.  But when you get down to it, it's just stupid and dangerous.

Micromanaging an overblown pandemic bc Orange Man bad---Mandates mask wearing which meh whatever but then actively 'shames' people that don't (they do a lot of shaming) and essentially telling people protesting over the complete breakdown of the social contract and their livelihoods being lost that they are being selfish and are going to get health care workers and grandma killed; while being good with the not so very socially distant protests they like---in fact those medical workers joined them......4 weeks ago they were "courageously" blocking those other protesters that only care about money.....and jobs!

But the State approved these recent protests by standing down and letting them have their own quasi Kristallnacht.  Part of Seattle is now autonomous from the United States.

You must protest like they do and say everything "correctly" (like Mr. And Mrs. Brees failed to do).  If not, they will ruin your life.  How?

They make a living daily on Twitter "cancelling" companies or celebrities that don't toe their line of lunacy....

They use social media and the companies behind them in Silicon Valley (their Brownshirts) to enforce their "morality" and intimidate any who dare question it.  Just saw yesterday that because a pastor at one of the most diverse churches in Alabama LIKED a tweet that said "China Virus" the Birmingham Housing Authority will no longer work with the Church.  Mark Wahlberg was cancelled over the weekend.  Wendy's.  The Crossfit CEO.  Nirvana.  Chick Fil A.

These companies have made it a point to silence and limit conservative voices explicitly bc they do not want a repeat of 2016.  Shadow bans.  Full on bans.  Fake trends.  Promoting people you probably don't even follow in order to do their own rigging and manipulating of the voters.

Whole Cities and States have been boycotted bc they felt there should be separate men's and women's bathrooms.

The list of cancelling and boycotts is growing exponentially.

They are currently working on a law in New York State that would make it a crime to call 9-11 if the call was "racially motivated" punishable by up to 5 YEARS in prison.....

So not only do they not want you to own guns to protect yourself, they want you to think twice about calling the people that would.

I can go on and on and on.  Most of that is just in the last week.

But tell me again, how is Trump the fascist?

Mean tweets?  Wants secure borders?  Loves America?  Doesn't think its inherently evil?

WRONG.

When you don't even know the basic definition of fascism, you say stupid things like Kemp. Fascism is so "far right" that it was started by Mussolini, then adapted by national socialists  The farther right you go, the more libertarian based the ideology. Libertarianism does not mesh with Fascism on nearly any level.

If Trump was a fascist he would have used the COVID-19 to exercise and gain more power.  He did not do so - he delegated to the states as part of  the federalist model.

The democrat/liberal Governors did use the COVID-19 to enhance and enforce more control over the people in their states.  This is how fascism starts.

Some Republican Governors  put controls in place but rolled them back quickly when they saw they were not needed.  Why are democrat states so slow to respond?

If Trump was a far right authoritarian characterized by dictatorial power and evidenced by the forcible suppression of opposition, he would have ignored the Governor of NY and the Mayor of NYC and put troops in the streets of the City over their objections. But he didn't.  Hmmmmm . If Trump wanted strong regimentation of society, I guess he would have ADDED to the regulations Obama left on the books, instead of repealing thousands of them. Hmmmmmm.  If Trump were such an ultranationalist, I don't think he would ever have offered Dreamers a path to citizenship while trying to negotiate funding for the wall.  Hmmmmmmm.  And that pesky left leaning press that he's allowed to flourish.  Hmmmmmmmm.  And that pesky Russiagate investigation that went on for two years without interference from him and harassed his legitimacy.  Hmmmmmmmm.

I'm no Trump fan, but this thread is ridiculous.

Worst. fascist. ever.
