CincyBillsFan
No matter how many games I watch the use of the prevent defense will never cease to amaze me. That they go this route so often is a real head scratcher. And that was a nice throw by Jackson and an even better catch by the WR. I have to believe that any Bills fan watching this game can see where the Bill's offense is lacking and it ain't at QB. I bet the Ravens end up winning this game by 2 or more TD's.

Brand J
Allen has the better arm without question, but Lamar’s vision and accuracy are decidedly better. When Lamar misses it’s usually by inches. When Allen misses it’s by yards.

As good as some of those catches were it's entirely possible to fault the recievers and all their drops and tips leading to interceptions for helping the Titans have the ball as much as they have. Frustrating, but I don’t think TEN trusts their secondary that much. Should’ve went for pressure on third and 16, but I get not wanting to give up a cheap TD there and swing momentum the other way. They were willing to sacrifice the time for a FG, and damn near sacked LaMar to stop even that. Still, you’d want to swing for the fences in the playoffs. A change of possession and quick score for TEN changes the 2nd half completely.

He has nice touch and has good accuracy over the middle but those sideline passes are cringe worthy. But at the core of Jackson's passing success is the threat of the Ravens running game. And that's fine but in the absence of a dominating rushing attack, which includes Jackson's own contributions as a runner, he would be considered an average passing QB. 2

No doubt his greatest strength is passing over the middle. His greatest attribute as a passer may be his ball placement. We can say “if we take this away or if we take that away, Jackson would be... (fill in the blank)” but you can’t take away what he does on the field regardless of surrounding circumstances (strong rush game/great TEs/solid OL/etc). I’d categorize Lamar as an above average passer.
