Augie
Listening to what people are saying this time of year is like believing Tom Brady is retiring per Twitter on April Fools Day.......highly questionable at best. But I don’t doubt that this could be the case.

Pete
That would be great if both Devin's went top 10. Kyler-Bosa-Williams-Allen-Oliver are locks for top 10- that's 7. There will be a player that either Buffalo covets, or another team does and makes a trade. The only good thing IMO about losing out on Oliver, I am hoping that Beane trades down, and gets some more top 100 picks. We could trade back 12 spots and still be able to draft one of these players- OT Jawaan, Jonah, Andre, Ford DL Wilkins, Gary, Burns, Sweat, WR DK TE Hotch, Fant CB Greedy, Byron RB Jacobs

RyanC883
If this is the case, and I think it will be, this presents the Bills with a great player at #9, or by trade-down. It also opens the possibility: will an unexpected run on LB's occur in the 1st round? No other LB's really have a 1st round grade, but if some team is drafting for need, they could, as Bean says, screw themselves.
atlbillsfan1975
Isn’t it great to have confidence in our front office for once in a long time? They may get it wrong but it won’t be because they take a Tight end or running back. Beane has set it up this draft nicely.

That means if you can find a trade partner the Bills can drop a few spots and still get a great player. Problem is you need to find a partner and that only happens if there is a team that wants a QB at 9.
GunnerBill
I have been high on Bush from the start. To me the only knock is size. He ticks basically every other box. The other thing helping he and White is the precipitous drop off at the position. Say they both go by 11... I think there is basically one off the ball linebacker worthy of going in about the next 60 spots - Mack Wilson.

I've got a top group of Oliver, Bosa, Q. Williams, Allen, White, Taylor, and Murray. After that, I've got a very small tier 2 of Wilkins, Hockenson, and Sweat. And the joke was more about how at this point in the process, every year, without fail, you get Kiper and McShay proclaiming that everyone and their brother will be a top-10 pick. I worry that he doesn't get his head round at all at the moment. I think he will be a PI machine. EDIT: I'll stop there because I think we have hi-jacked this thread on linebackers enough now that we are discussing a corner ? I don't see as much value in a TE unless you believe you're getting a 70+ reception per year guy. That said, the above are simply my player grades. Hock gets a first-round grade for me as a player; that doesn't mean that I condone a GM spending a first-round pick on a TE.
ROCBillsBeliever
THIS JUST IN! Draft experts predict 25 players to go in the top 10 of the 2019 NFL Draft! Obviously, I'm being sarcastic, but if you take all of the "Player X will go in the top Y" trash that's out there, this is, essentially, what you get... What that means to us? Some great players WILL fall. Some also-rans will be over-drafted. We can get all flustered about it, or we can trust the process, or we can ignore it. I pick option #2.
