We need a team in Buffalo Next Year or Rochester!

What should the name be????

We could just move the Bills over, I bet we'd have a chance to win this league .... if we can get a competent offensive line.

It’s interesting. Even if it gives the nfl some things to think about and gives us some halfway decent football to watch after the NFL season ends

the NFL is a partner to the AAF and I suspect is using this league to beta test some of the rule changes they have been considering

No way that wasn't a flag in the NFL.....  If they are going to allow real hitting, that's awesome.

Wasn't a fan of the placing of the ball at the 25, though.  Very anticlimactic and now exciting at all.  They should have found a way to FEATURE the kickoff and increase the excitement of it, not just dump it.  So far, it hasn't been too bad.

They are trying to keep guys healthy for the nfl

The XFL has no chance now. Dead in the water.

I wouldn't say that.  One benefit that they will have is that they can see what works and doesn't work for the AAF and tweak their own game.  It will all come down to their presentation and quality of the game.  As football fans, we want these leagues to succeed if only to perhaps improve the NFL in some way.

And that's fine.  But when it is a clean hit on the QB like that was, there shouldn't be flags.  NFL throws flags for breathing on QBs.

Ok? Did I imply there should’ve been a flag? I was addressing the no kickoff rule.

Before tonight, I would have disagreed. After tonight, I agree. I would have bet the AAF was the league that would fail if I had to choose just one. Now I would bet on the XFL. If the AAF can keep this up all season, they have a chance.

Especially if the AAF sends some players to the majors.  Will give them a jump on recruiting players.
