SlimShady'sSpaceForce
I did magic mushrooms once. What a trip. Went to a ZZ Top concert. An interesting 2 mile walk to and from downtown Rochester.

Mark80
Legal in Amsterdam...had some, went to Van Gogh museum...mind blown. Granted, I've had previous experience. Would not recommend that for a first timer. 1
PRBills
One low dose of mushrooms can treat depression for up to 3 weeks... Natural and much safer then prescription depression medication... I am all for this

Would not recommend that for a first timer. so I was on pub crawl in Berlin and met a couple of American GIs. A couple days later I am in a huge underground club in East Berlin- and I randomly meet the GI's again. Two weeks later in Amsterdam I ate a bunch of Hawaiian mushrooms- and run into same GI's again at the Heineken museum! We go to the nearest pub- and the mushrooms were really kicking in. I was ordering Heinekens two at a time and drinking them within two minutes. I probably drank 12 beers in 40 minutes. The GI's were amazed, and informed me they were going to Van Gogh museum-(which is where I was heading). So we all went together, I am feeling great. We get to the upper floor of the van gogh exhibit- and these two were bouncing a superball around the paintings! I was laughing my ass off, trying to keep a distance from them. The dutch art employee screaming "sir, you cannot play ball in here". What a trip! Edited January 6, 2019 by Pete

I've done shrooms quite a few times back in the day. One of the more memorable times, was when a buddy and I took some and we went to another friends house. The movie Hellraiser was on, and one would think this is not the kind of movie that should be watched while tripping. Well at that point in time it was the funniest thing I've ever seen. We proceeded to laugh our asses off for the better part of the movie, while the guys wife looked at us like we were insane.....and rightfully so.
Johnny Hammersticks
Done mushrooms plenty of times. By far my favorite hallucinogen. If you know what you’re looking for, you can find them in the wild all over the northeast ?

My Crew Chief was an old, old timer... Was a mushroom hunter... LoL. He'd actually find them when we were building baseline. One time he hits the jackpot and finds a giant puff ball. Wraps it up it damp towels and puts it on the floor of the truck cab. I ask him what's he doing with it. He's gonna take it home and cook it up. I say: "Ain't that dangerous?" Seasons1992
When it's good, it's GREAT. And as another poster said above, you certainly can drink a TON of beers while riding the coaster. A bad trip is definitely not great. I've been both places, many more times good than the one bad time.

Marv's Neighbor
Oregon is a strange place. It's seismically active, volcanic, weather W of the Cascades is usually overcast & rainy. E of the Cascades is mostly dry high desert. it resembles a moonscape. Given all that, not surprised what they would vote for.

You have quite a sustainable situation. LoL... What the heck, toss some shrooms in for good measure. Also factor in; Oregon has no state sales tax on purchases. So all the people from Washington State which has NO state income tax BUT has numerous other ways to recover that, drive to Oregon to buy their big screen TV's, computers, etc. Makes for big traffic volumes on I-5, which is still a "freeway," and has no tolls. Warning: May lead to the overwhelming realization that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all once consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves.
