You are beyond stupid. You just don't get it or you simply don't want to get it. Typical Democrat.

The problem is, no one takes the time to do that. Especially if you've (the general "you" not specific you) already decided that Trump is Satan and Hitler's off spring.

I wonder what poor baker was forced to bake the cake for that union.

@Foxx , thank you for posting those videos. I see the one was a Breitbart youtube..not saying accurate or not as I have to run and I have not watched, but I wanted to acknowledge the post!

apologies for the Breibart one, but it was video of the angelmoms, shooting the messenger is not always the best approach.

here is one to replace the Breitbart video.

You can find research supporting both sides of the argument regarding crimes committed by ILLEGAL immigrants.  For sure though, 100% of crimes committed by illegal immigrants in this country were avoidable, and crimes committed by illegal immigrants often victimize Americans and cost taxpayers A LOT of money and that expense is also avoidable.

Citizens don't want to experience crimes by people who should not be here and they also don't want to pay the bill that comes with it.

I'm not holding Breitbart up as an unvarnished bastian of objective truth, and even noted that they have a clear bias, but I don't see any evidence of them reporting blatant falsehoods or being less reliable than most other "news" outlets.

Ironically, the article you linked is fake news. All I had to do was read it & the cited articles to see that. The only objective facts alleged were that Bannon pushed for heavy coverage of Roy Moore and said the msm was trying to tank Trump. Everything else was conjecture and there were no quotes or citations to support the headline.

Interestingly, all the cited articles were from CNN.

@Deranged Rhino and you both are wasting your time

Actually people just don't want crime, no matter who commits it, singling out one group as being the problem is wrong and it is scapegoating which is hateful and dangerous. And if truely reducing crime was a Conservative goal, then I'm sure we would see more support for social services for the needy and mentally ill, for better and more well funded agencies to care for children neglected and mistreated and more youth services and trainings to get to the young people that don't have strong connections to any community. Join us in building a better society, not walks. You think China is wasting money on walls these days?

you are completely and entirely off your rocker, Tibs.

what in the *****ity ***** does the rate at which Americans commit crimes have to do with the rate of crimes committed by people who have absolutely no legal right to be in this country in the first place?

has your mind atrophied that much from the progressive poisoning?

The point is, crime because of immigrants isn't the biggest problem we face at all. Isn't illegal immigrantion way down anyway?

Do you actually believe that? I'd like to see the polling question that ilicited that response. There's a difference between a 2000 mile 30' high concrete wall and 250 miles of strategically placed fencing to funnel border jumpers into better controlled areas.

Here's five national polls and the actual question.  All have similar results.

Do you favor or oppose building a wall along the US-Mexico border?  43% favor, 51% oppose.  Fox News poll 1/23/19

Do you support or oppose building a wall along the U.S. border with Mexico?  42 support, 54% oppose.  ABC News poll 1/13/19

Do you support or oppose building a wall along the border with Mexico?  41% support, 55% oppose.    Quinnipiac poll 1/29/19

Do you think building a wall is necessary to effectively secure the U.S–Mexico border from illegalimmigration,

or do you think the U.S.-Mexico border can be secured without building a wall?  37% - Wall is necessary. 61% - Border can be secure without a wall CBS News poll 1/23/19

Here's a comparison between 2006 and 2019.  Obviously, Independents were the only consistent respondents.  Wall Street Journal/NBC poll Jan. 20th

I wonder what Trump's poll numbers would be with an even semi-honest press?

Those "national polls" are interesting.

The Fox poll was during the shutdown (Jan 20-22). The "top priority" for the wall grew 12%, but "quit/resign" grew 5% too. SMH.  They also asked if people were better off than a year prior, most were, but the country was worse off?!? (well, maybe due to the shutdown?) 24% Thought it was a good thing to move away from capitalism and toward socialism!? WTF were these 1000 people surveyed!?!?!

The ABC Poll was also done during the shutdown (Jan 8-11).  About half the people surveyed think the border is a crisis... among the people who do not want a wall, 48% see it as a serious problem. What in the world do they expect to hold back people from crossing into the United States illegally? Fairy dust and unicorns!? This poll has the shift for a wall at +11 for independents from one year prior.  788 people surveyed, 31% D, 26% R, 39% I.

The CBS poll (also during the shutdown (Jan 18-21)) is really screwy... The answers make little sense.... the shutdown isn't worth wall funding, but the Democrats should give wall funding in the budget!? Weighted respondents 277 R (22%)  349 D, (31%), 476 I (43%)

The link to the  Quinnipiac poll did not work.

I wonder if there is a way to get a better sample size? 1K people with Rs under-represented isn't going to give a great representation of the American public's views, especially with slanted push or pull questions. I know internal polls generally do a better job (less of a push or a pull), but no one ever seems to get that data except the person paying.

You're going to get that breakdown with all polls as their are more reigstered Democrats than Republicans.  Fox News and the Wall Street Journal are the strongest polls and they have more Dems than Republicans.  Every one of these pollsters were within a couple points of accurately predicting the generic ballot that coincided with the midterm votes.  The 24% doesn't surprise me with the move from capitalism towards socialism with the economic inequality rhetoric we're seeing on the left

I'm guessing they saw the poll numbers after the SOTU.

Going to be interesting to see how she spins her earlier stance of the wall being immoral.

I'm guessing they're going to play the name game. It's not a wall, it's a barrier/fence/peaches.

Someone whispered in a group I follow that the DNC internal polls after the SOTU showed a much higher approval rating than the 70+% reported by abc, cbs, etc. Methinks that whisper must be correct if this is true.

SMH The Ds are screwed. The wall (barrier, whatever your preferred descriptive is) is being built with or without them.

And not to be that guy, but I am that guy so I might as well:

The DNC has known this whole time Trump can build the wall without Congress, and without an EO through the 10 USC 284 - which also could not be stopped with an injunction. Trump knows this as well and has for a long time. That makes me suspect 99% of this back and forth was cover for whatever they're really negotiating.

to my way of thinking, he either wants it for re-election fodder and/or he wants them to be his little B words.

I don't think it's even that nefarious.  Trump just trolled them in to looking weak on borders security and admitting they prioritize illegal aliens over citizens.
