Gregg Williams: “I Turned Down 7 Other Jobs” To Be in Cleveland

Also, is this the thread that we are allowed to mention what an idiot Todd Haley is? Between he and Gregg Williams I feel for Hue Jackson. He seems like a nice guy and there is 2 morons.

I didn't know how anyone could take him seriously when he and Haley had a disagreement between pushing players versus getting them rest. I understand the HC wanting to be conservative, but saying "when I was in your chair (not HC)" and Al Saunders referencing "it's your team and do what you want"....that was cringe-worthy.

Figure out a way to shoehorn Wrecks and Rob into the organization, and you'll have Shemp and Curly Joe as well.

Why did I just have a horrendous vision of Todd Haley and Greggo on a tandem bike after reading this freakin' comment??!!?

Greggggggg's most famous quote while in Buffalo, "We're going to give you a defense like you've never seen".  He was right, Buffalo had some of the worst defense we'd ever seen during his tenure.  His second most famous quote, "Hah baht that Kendrick Office?".  Douchebag.

I am expecting a decided decline in the Bills QB productivity this game.

Last week was pitch and catch..........GW much more likely to throw the kitchen sink at his former employers new QB's.

Should be a good test of blitz pickups.

Literally, he is the worst.  No player must enjoy playing for him.  He has the opposite of BDE (google it).

Hey BDE is no laughing matter..

(yeah I had to google it myself)

It will also be interesting to see if Dabol and McD care enough to game plan for that.   The short passing / quick release script Peterman used in the Carolina game would be a good antidote to Gregg-o's blitzorama...

I'm curious to see how well each QB responds to it.  Ideally, take what they give you and torch them when the opening appears.  Allen might have the hardest time adjusting, but at the same time his cannon gives him the best chance to make them pay when opportunity presents.  I'm curious to see if he can be patient enough.

As for Gerg, was one of the offers motivational speaker?  "You'll have enough time to think about coaching in a van down by the river...when you're coaching in a van down by the river!"

Hue Jackson tells Gregg Williams not to call players “stupid” in the media

Browns defensive coordinator Gregg Williams told reporters after rookie Denzel Ward got hurt making a tackle that the injury was Ward’s fault because of the “stupid” way he tackles. Browns head coach Hue Jackson was not happy about that.

Jackson told reporters today that Williams needs to watch the way he talks about the Browns’ internal business publicly.

“Gregg does not get to do just what he wants to do. We will work through all of that. . . . We do not need to do all of that stuff in the media,” Jackson said.
