Beckham and 2 to the Browns for 1 & Corey Coleman.

??  that makes ALOT of effing sense.  Dang if that happens that would be a good thing for us right? Giants take Darnold, Browns take Allen, Jets take Rosen or Mayfield, we trade to 4 to get the other one.

I would think the Browns would have to give up more but I could be wrong.

So Les Snead is betting everything on 2018 and 2019. After that they won't be able to pay anyone. Good luck with that, I guess.

He won't be able to pay anyone or have any young talent because they keep trading away draft picks.

I think Browns would like to do something like this but I don't know how much Giants value that top pick. They might feel like they are happy at 2 and can get who they want there. They might want that Browns #4 pick though!

That's the NFL now. Load up to win while you still can. The window of opportunity for success and championships has shrunk. Look at Seattle. Get a SB title and then start to rebuild again.

I agree.  This is basically OBJ for a 2nd round value.  Coleman has done nothing in the league except be hurt.

Emotions take over in these situations sometimes. KC practically gave Peters away.

That would absolutely ruin any chance for us to trade up into the top five.

So Browns drop back 1 spot and get Beckham

Giants get to move up and take a guy they would have gotten at #2 anyway, unless browns are going Barkley and Giants want him

The Giants supposedly like Darnold a lot. He is the guy that most people think will be gone. They are fed up with OBJ and not going to pay him what he wants. The Browns can offer them the chance to get the QB that they want and pick up OBJ at the same time. The Browns can afford the crazy price for Beckham and Landry because their entire roster is on rookie deals. It makes a lot of sense IMO.

Christ I forgot Landry was there.

That's very true IF they love Darnold, which this would give them

Fair points

OBJ, Landry, Gordon...

TYGOD may truly be unleashed.

Cant forget about Njoku, Hyde, Duke Johnson...

They really have a chance to be incredible.

They also have a chance to completely implode  with all the "eccentric" personalities, and be the 2018 NFL version of the old "jailblazers" from the NBA

Yes, they did. An elite player for a 4th round pick and a 2019 2nd. Peanuts.

I'm thinking about what  OBJ would warrant, at a minimum, he's got to be worth a 1st and a mid round pick, right?

Say what you want about his attitude or character, but the guy shredded the record books for WR performance. He is one of the most explosive players in the league.

You'll have to pay him, but so what.
