MrEpsYtown
I think he is a pretty average player, which is what Eric Wood pretty much was as well. He could compete with Groy. Bodine I believe is a center only, whereas Groy could play guard.

Foxx
background Bodine has been one of the worst starting offensive linemen in the league since the Bengals traded up in the 2014 NFL Draft to select him, and amid an often-great line led by Andrew Whitworth and Kevin Zeitler, he always looked like the one stopping the unit from becoming the best in the NFL. Now those two are gone and Bodine is entering his fourth year in Cincinnati, in which it’s time to step up or step away. 1
YoloinOhio
He’s not good but would take Groy’s spot as backup C. 1 minute ago, MrEpsYtown said: I think he is a pretty average player, which is what Eric Wood pretty much was as well. Jamie Muellers Ghost
Never thought they have liked Groy much and another hole not to have to draft if he signs. Could fit zone scheme better as well. Groy could move to G.

HappyDays
http://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/03/18/buffalo-bills-host-russell-bodine-on-visit/ A fourth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Bodine spent the first the first four years of his career with the Bengals. He won the team’s starting center job in his first preseason, and he has never looked back. Bodine has started 64 games throughout the past four seasons. The former North Carolina Tar Heel is an effective blocker. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed just one sack in the 2017 season. He had a pass blocking efficiency rating of 97.6 last season. Bodine is experienced, but he’s also young. He’ll be just 26 when the 2018 season kicks off. Should Buffalo eventually sign Bodine, he’ll likely compete with Ryan Groy for the starting center role in training camp.

Eric Wood was extremely average as well, but overpaid and hurt our cap. Bodine will be cheap and probably serviceable. Alex Mack, Travis Frederick, Rodney Hudson guys like that are special centers. The rest are usually meh.

Joe BuscagliaVerified account @JoeBuscaglia 3m3 minutes ago Joe Buscaglia Retweeted Goodberry Some more evidence as to why this might just be for depth/competition if the #Bills sign him. GoodberryVerified account @JoeGoodberry Replying to @manecci Good: Started a ton of games (64) and is still relatively young (25). Has taken small steps in improvement. Bad: About 60 of those games aren't good. Lacks athleticism, core strength, length and Bengals have been destroyed on stunts/games up the middle. MrEpsYtown
Travis Swanson is the guy to go after, but might be expensive. Groy and an upgrade at guard and tackle makes sense.
