....funny though in hindsight as to how many of the EXPERT TBD prognosticators wanted him as Buffalo's pick....and I'm SURE they'll ALL line up with their mea culpas......funny how that works.....

The same guys that were screaming for Bortles are probably the same guys that were screaming for Claussen or Mallett.

i'm sure i'm not the only one saying wtf? watching tyrod last night....but i may be the only one who remembers 26-39 for 329 3tds and 0 picks in his last game last year. if he is capable of doing that he can do it more often. the one thing that does bug me to no end is how everyone complains about the sammy deal and how it takes time to build a chemistry with receivers well.......nate seemed to hit guys just fine more times than not......so... a trade of tyrod i would still consider stupid.

i'd love to see nate with the the ones, but regular season games are a different animal

Tyrod is not a playoff caliber QB. Give Peterman the nod this year to see any type of development. Improve our position in the draft next year.

Tyrod has no value in this league. He's a QB who can't throw. You might be able to get a 4th for him. Might.

If we want to improve our position in the draft next year then we should just stick with Tyrod

Trading Taylor isn't going to happen.

Anyway, I believe Taylor will and should be the starter all year. I don't want Peterman thrown to the wolves behind the garbage line we have.

What I did find interesting is that, this morning, the guys on Sirius NFL radio were talking about how good Peterman looked and how bad Taylor looked, almost hinting at a QB controversy.

Personally, I don't see one but maybe I'm not seeing the whole picture.

I know it's only 2nd preseason game but at the same time Its Tyrods 3rd season as a starter , i didn't see anything positive if anything I'm very disappointed ( would be an understatement) in TT , IMO it's time to move away from TT , I still think he's the starter week 1 but if by week 3 or 4 he still looks like $&@t then I hope we don't hesitate to make a change

Start Peterman!

Why do you hate Peterman so much? Starting him would be the worst thing for Peterman...hes not ready and the OL is terrible...pretty awful way to develop a QB...but you people can go ahead and keep suggesting awful football ideas, there are plenty of bad arm chair GMs that will agree.

Also the ONLY game he played with a healthy Sammy all year really...who also had 150+ yards a TD himself...

Oh wait, we traded him for a bag of rocks DB thats injury prone and a future 2nd round pick everyone will want to cut before he's played one NFL snap :wallbash:

"Tyrod was slightly more than six points under the league average for QB rating without pressure — he needs to improve in that situation — but 13.3 points above the NFL average in QB rating with pressure."

You said I looked foolish and proved yet again you were wrong. he was very good under pressure. you laughed that off.

the problem is he creates his own "pressure" by not getting the ball the out.

I can't believe so many people losing their $hit over Tyrod's poor performance last night. He's our starter this year, there is no one out there better who is available to us. Beane is positioning us to make a run next year at a franchise QB. Why is this so hard for people to understand and we have to have 73 threads on it?? If he sucks, Peterman will get a chance and we can evaluate him a bit. Jesus, it's not rocket surgery people.

Then why keep TT on the roster this year and not go with the Rookie?

nate seemed to hit guys just fine more times than not......so...

Actually not. He hit guys exactly as often as not. 10 for 20 to be exact.

IT WAS A PRACTICE GAME. Hotrod working on new stuff in a new Offense.

I play drums and sometimes I sound horrible practicing because I'm working on what I'm not good at. That's what you do when practicing, even if it is a PRACTICE GAME.

Some of y'all sound like this is your first rodeo.

You really think it's just because of one preseason game?

There have been plenty of Tyrod doubters all along the way...This is nothing new... B-)

It is just the line got a bit longer last night.

For the Official beheading of the witch. Whomever the Witch may be...

I was watching Dareus and getting pissed. He was just going through the motions when double teamed.

Then i realized. it was a preseason game and forgave him.

I've already posted numerous times today to trade him and McCoy and get the first overall pick in 2018. Has been some rumors that these trades are being thought about....didn't Taylor face Seattles defense in Seattle and do pretty well? or the 2015 win over Houston who has a good defense. or those two jets wins in 2015 when the Jets defense was good. Peterman has never played in a real NFL game when the bullets are flying for real. Three quarters in meaningless pre season games is not the same at all. maybe he is better-play him with the firsts without Glenn and Matthews and find out.

Jacksonville may want a look at him. Besides, as far as backup goes, any team in the league would want him for that. He's a great backup.

At the price he is currently getting?

Taylor looks like he should be playing flag football.

I don't think McDermott will be able to justify playing him much longer.

He's far from bottoming out.

They are making him throw between the numbers and the results will only get worse.

The sad part is the longer they play him the less he will be worth. Get what you can now before he gets injuried or has another bad game like vrs Philly.

I agree it's all down hill this season with him. Trade now and move on.

Start Peterman!

Right on man.

I wouldn't ask them for any player to trade Tyrod for just a draft pick would be enough.

In my opinion no QB is doing anything in Jax this year so there draft pick should be gold for the Bills to own.

Unless the Bills finish with 3 or 4 wins it will be VERY hard for us to move up in the draft for a possible franchise QB. Almost anyone who has a pick above us needs a QB too. The number of picks that will be needed to move into the top 2 or 3 picks is in the "Ditka trade all of my picks for Ricky stratosphere! I don't get how everyone is just assuming we can move up now that we have 6 picks in the 1st 3 rounds...it's a pipe dream!

The Cheaps pick will likely be 25+. And our pick at 8+ let's say isn't going to convince Jets or 49ers or Jacksonville to move down.

We may as well just try to win.

How about Taylor plays with the 2nd and 3rd string next week so he can rack up some impressive numbers and all this trade talk can stop.

Move on to what exactly? I think EVERYONE understands the need for a stud QB to build around. There are about 10 of these guys currently in the world. There are not any on Amazon, I checked.

In the meantime TT is there until a better option is available.

I hate it when people just lie on this site. You obviously didn't check Amazon, or you would have found this:

https://www.amazon.com/Football-Quarterbacks-Collection-Set-Including/dp/B01KN2VS1E/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1503119330&sr=8-3&keywords=Stud+QB

But, by all means, it you want to keep peddling your anti-Amazon agenda, be my guest.

Every player needs confidence. Especially the QB. The bills really don't have much faith in Tyrod. Mean while BLAKE BORTLES, is dealing with a QB killer in Doug Marone.

Bortles and 4th to buffalo for Tyrod

Tyrod doesn't fit this west coast offense . The three step drops will not work. If you watch the bills/jags from last year, I think Bortles played well. Fresh start for both players. Bortles in three years have over 11k pass yards and 69 TD's. problem has been turnovers. Obviously Tyrod protects the ball well, would be prefect for Marone ground and pound.

Sounds good
