JUST NBC THE FAKE NEWS: America Is Not the Fifth Most Dangerous Country for Journalists, You Idiots.

Second (and I don’t want to come across as glib here, because even one death is a tragedy), the grand total of journalists killed in the U.S. this year was six. The global total was sixty-three. The death of a journalist is a very, very rare event, rare enough that even a small number of unlikely incidents is enough to catapult a nation into the ranks of the “most dangerous.”

Of course, that’s exactly what happened. On June 28th, a deranged man with a vendetta against local Maryland newspaper Capital Gazette walked in and killed four employees in the single worst attack on journalists in modern U.S. history. The other two deaths were journalists covering Tropical Storm Alberto in North Carolina, killed when a tree fell on the highway. Both tragedies, but clearly outliers rather than barometers for the level of danger faced daily by American journalists.

Here we hit upon the third point; the number of journalists “killed” was compiled regardless of the manner of their death or the perpetrators. When it comes to calculating threats to journalism, no one would say that a freak accident like a tree falling should be treated like an ISIS execution, or that a local crazy is like a Saudi prince. But that’s the result if you use the raw number of deaths as a stand-in for “danger.”

Exit quote from Twitchy’s take on the above (non) story:

“Obama spied on and tried to jail journalists: meh. Trump says mean things on Twitter about biased American media: ‘add the US to the list!’”

?

.

To be fair to NBC, they were reporting on a stupid list made by "Reporters Without Borders".  I wonder if there's a list of the most dangerous countries to scoop ice cream, or operate a hot dog cart, or whatever else some made up group want to make disingenuous lists about.

Upon learning the menu, all the other teams that abstained from visiting the evil orange man are reconsidering and want to know when they will be getting their bigmacs.

Also, Reggie Bush says that Trumps dinner was disrespectful and horrible. Proof positive that running for negative yards in a season is not rock bottom for this guy- opening his mouth is.

You leftists melt down so hard, you can't even tell you're melting down any more.

Why don’t they ask how much he spent last year on groceries? The President is responsible for paying for all food and drink at White House meals - except for State Dinners.

Read the headline, then read the short article to the end.

Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence calls out fake Twitter quote praising fast food at White House

http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/clemson-qb-trevor-lawrence-calls-out-fake-twitter-quote-praising-fast-food-at-white-house/ar-BBSilUh?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=HPCOMMDHP15

An image of Lawrence with a quote attached was posted on Twitter by @CloydRivers, an account with 1.84 million followers. The headline over the image read, "Clemson QB speaks out to defend America."

The quote attached to Lawrence's image read:

"President Trump got all our favorite foods, it was the best meal we ever had. Then we go and see the coastal elite media trashing it for not being organic vegan. We're football players, not bloggers. This was a perfect blue collar party."

Lawrence wrote on his unverified Twitter account that the words were not his.

"I never said this by the way... I don’t know where it came from. However the trip to the White House was awesome!" Lawrence tweeted.

In a video published by TMZ Sports, Lawrence said he enjoyed the meal. "It was awesome," he said. "We had McDonald's and everything. It was good."

Got handed one of these on the Metro this morning.  Person handing them out was strongly claiming to be with the Post and trying to push this as genuine.  I told her that, if so, she should ***** off, because it was advocacy and not reporting.

I sincerely hope the Post sues these #######s for trademark infringement.

I always wondered why NBC was on the Trump hate train.

Didn’t The Apprentice garner very good ratings for them?

NBC is the reason that America thought that a second rate real estate developer (but a marketing maven) was a true business mogul.   Now thy're trying to distance themselves from the fact that they gave him his biggest platform and are probably most responsible for his ascendancy to Presidency.

Buzzfeed’s debacle is a warning to Mueller that he needs to wrap up his probe without delay. No presidency — no, not even Trump’s — deserves to have this cloud hanging over it, with precipitation falling daily in the form of false news stories.

Latest Example Of Bad Russia Reporting...

Montage: Media Calling for Impeachment...

CNN, MSNBC Say Nearly 200 Times...

Media consumers aren’t as savvy as we’d like them to be, and just because something is technically accurate and qualified doesn’t make it good. People skip right over those caveats, and if they want to believe these reports, they treat them like gospel.

Pretty incredible thing to say after your entire industry ran with “if true” and indulged in impeachment grandeur for an entire day without confirmation. Maybe the consumer isn’t the problem here.

The meme and fake news conspiracy explosion on Facebook social media is a direct result of media losing their own credibility. People said ***** it and went elsewhere. Instead of looking inward (even now), they attack the audience they lost. It’s breathtaking.

All Three Networks Ignore ‘March For Life,’ Cover Pro-Abortion ‘Women’s March’ Instead
 by Paul Bois

Original Article

On its 46th anniversary, all three major networks (ABC, NBC, and CBS) ignored the March for Life in Washington, D.C., the largest pro-life event in the nation, opting instead to cover the feminist Women´s March rally. According to LifeNews, despite an estimated 100,000 people being in attendance at the pro-life march along with President Trump´s address to the crowd via video, the left-wing machines could not so much as "give a passing mention to the March for Life" during the Friday morning shows.

I'd say that media consumers are exactly as savvy as the media wants them to be.

Otherwise, the media would stop trying to use clickbait headlines and run with stories that are actually true.

Once again, the concern is how this will be used against the media — not how a major outlet could screw up this badly and how to prevent it again.

Because again, they’re upset BuzzFeed got caught — not that they were misled by shoddy reporters doing crap work.

And this is why it's a ridiculous idea to allow networks to cite these "fact-checks" during debates and speeches.

The quote cited here is clearly true.

Dems have absolutely shifted their views on the effectiveness and morality of barriers at the border.

MEDIA IN VARIOUS STAGES OF GRIEF OVER COLLAPSE OF BUZZFEED TRUMP/COHEN STORY:

Rachel Maddow, and MSNBC generally, is in the bargaining phase. BUT HE’S STILL A BAD MAN! Don’t stop trying to impeach him just because Buzzfeed may have screwed up, and anyway, maybe Buzzfeed’s report is false but accurate! RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA!

It took Maddow 10 minutes to conclude “Happy Two Years of the Trump Administration” before turning to Ben Smith, who defended the story.

See what she did there? Mueller’s rebuke of Buzzfeed becomes an afterthought.

And former and current Democratic activist Chuck Todd isn’t taking it too well, either. Fortunately, Mollie Hemmingway is pushing back:

mollie_hemmingway_chuck_todd_1-20-19-1-8

To be fair, NBC has a lot invested in BuzzFeed, literally and figuratively: Flashback to 2015: NBCUniversal makes $200-million investment in BuzzFeed.

If you want proof the media learned absolutely nothing from Buzzfeed episode, watch how they handle the Covington HS story.

They will believe anything, regurgitate any unproven or sketchy narrative, to ridicule Trump and his supporters.

This includes helping to destroy children.
