There was a fear on Sunday night that the wideout could miss the rest of the season. Medical personnel, including renowned foot specialist Robert Anderson, have advised Watkins against a surgical remedy for the issue at this time. Rex and Whaley get a pass, and another year. All the more reason we need to tank, and start dealing guys right now. Kyle, Richie, Gilmore...all gone for picks next year if they are gettable. Sal Capaccio is on WGR right now and the foot injury is pretty much all he is talking about with callers. He's reporting it as "It looks like Sammy will sit for a few weeks" but he is noting this is not confirmed, and that there has been no official comment from the Bills yet. Certain that Rex will be asked about it, and asked persistently No...substance abuse tests are only administered between April and August(unless you are in stage 1 and have tested positive previously, which noone knows about until they get suspended after they test positive again and enter Stage 2) and the NFL has a wink, wink nod, nod agreement with the players to "not do those things" during the season...yeah right.
