Yeah but nobody thinks Tyrod is as good of a QB as Allen, despite the TO difference. The question is does Allen need to be middle of the pack in TOs to produce a ton of TD’s? Would you trade 2 less TD’s for 5 less TO’s? Maybe.

What tier ? There’s a strong argument he’s QB2, and top 5 isn’t arguable, there’s less space between Mahomes and Allen than Allen and whoever you want to put at 3 IMO. -

Slight pushback regarding the difficult part of the schedule (Dallas excluded), we did start running Allen more. I want to see us run a functioning Offense without needing the cheat code that is Allen running. Big games/Playoffs, run all he wants, but they had the right idea heading into last season, albeit the execution and mindset being way off as Allen was essentially afraid to run..at all. -
He would be Dick Jauron without Josh Allen and nothing more.

Cam Newton had once superb season. Josh Allen puts up superb seasons, year after year. The biggest difference is that Newton didn't have to overcome Mahomes in the voting. Face it, Mahomes is a great player on a great team with a great coach, and the Bills with Allen and McBeane get respect but not the top rating. If Mahomes wasn't playing, Allen would be regarded as better than Newton, but Mahomes IS playing, so Allen gets overlooked as MVP material. -

Great to hear. The obvious conclusion then is that there will be no excuses if our offense underachieves with Allen at the helm. -
Obviously the Dolphins are also uncertain about Tua, otherwise they would have already signed him to the new contract he wanted. However, it is unfair to just ignore the injuries the Dolphins offense was dealing with at the end of last season. Yes, Allen can make the off-platform play that Tua can't dream of doing but there is no need to denigrate Allen's teammates to make that point. Allen's oline was pretty decent in 2020 also.

I'm as interested in the fact that Josh Allen has never really had a WR quite like Claypool. The suddenness and catch radius could be a boon to Allen; if they were to get on the same page, that could get real interesting, real quick.

There were a couple INTs like this but it’s a strawman to say that this is what people were blaming it on. Believe it or not the best thread on Allen’s INTs was posted by Einstein late in the season. INTs will go down this year because Allen will have 0 targets towards Gabe Davis this year.

Brady and the offense need to rely on Allen to do Allen things less than 5 times a game. The vast majority of the game needs to be schemed up. Too often over the last few years with Dabol and Dorsey it was close to half.
