I heard McD and Beane were close to actually cutting Bishop, after a really harsh post here on TBD. Good thing they held the course. 1 1 3 Quote
DapperCam Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I think his ceiling is a Pro Bowler and a good starter. Considering how bad our safety play has been since Poyer/Hyde part I, that would be a huge improvement to the defense. Quote
davefan66 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Been playing well. More instinctive, which I feel is directly related to Rapp being out. Allows him to be free and not worry about the teammate injuring missle. Certainly has the potential to be one of our better safeties that have played for this team. Hopefully he continues to progress this season and is a difference maker in the playoffs. Quote

He's getting better in that area but it's still absolutely a work in progress for a young player. The HOF shouts at this junction are insane lol Who’s saying HOF besides you? Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I’ve always been high on Bishop. Pro Bowler with maybe an all pro one year thrown in Quote

ChronicAndKnuckles Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I predicted Bishop to be the best player out of that Bills draft class. He’s one of those complete Safety’s like Polamalu that is both a ball hawk and savage hitter. I think he has potential to be a top 5 player at his position. Quote
HOUSE Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I think he could become one of the best ever. I will go with HOF 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago All you guys saying HOF, slow your roll! I think he is a second ballot HOFer only. 1 1 Quote

Is it just me or did Bishop emerge the minute Rapp went out and he partnered with Poyer? Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago What has made me more confident was a post-game breakdown (I think after Carolina) where the upshot was "he's pretty much always in the right position" To me, that's the thing. There's always going to a process throughout his career to get better at battling receivers but if he's in the right place with those athletic traits? I heard him described as "the best pure safety in the 2024 draft" Obviously DeJean has been great for the Eagles so that's my hope for rough comp 1 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Beane's drafts have been very hit or miss, but it looks like he nabbed a couple of good ones in Hairston and Bishop. Quote
BillsPride12 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago To the negative Nancy's in here, we are talking about his ceiling. Where he could potentially max out at. Nobody is anointing him a Hall of Famer yet Quote
Big Turk Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Really high. He is going to be a key piece of this secondary along with Hairston for the next several years. Quote
