Hate to see anyone get hurt, but this will be the time Hancock shows he deserves the job long term.

Hancock is lucky, he has a low bar to clear with Rapp being the starter

Would it change your mind if we got a draft pick in return and saved $15M off our cap?

If we were getting a first round pick, sure. We won't. Otherwise, no. Wouldn't change my mind at all.

Get well and recover well Taylor.  I hope I’ve watched the last game of you playing in a Bills uniform.

addition by subtraction.  We’re better off

Hate to see any player injured. Wish him a smooth recovery. But on the field, I really believe this is addition by subtraction. Maybe this gets Beane off his hands to go after Simmons or another vet.

Really wish Shaq was playing. Potential big loss there even with Milano and Bernard possibly back this week.

Wizards like Beane always avoid cap hell, right? 😂😂

People raggin on Rapp ?? …The guy was hurt since game 2…  may have had something to do with his performance.. ya think

It's very odd how quickly perceptions change. In 2023 he was viewed as a good backup and then in 2024 he was looked at as a solid starter. Now in 2025 he's this terrible weak link. I am not saying that Rapp was good this year he was terrible. But at age 27 coming off a year where you were pretty good I would have to think that you were hurt to be this bad. Rapp's only gonna make 4 million next season but his dead cap is only 600k. Hard to tell if they will want to use his money elsewhere or keep him as a vet competing for a job?

Avoid today, pay tomorrow.

Actually, what had more to do with it is he's not as talented as people like to remember. He was by and large a boarder line starter last year as well. But people were more focused on crucifying Hamlin to notice. PFF (yes, taken with a grain of salt) actually had Hamlin rated higher than Rapp last year

I'm fine with Rapp going out and Hancock getting more time. Been waiting for that since the draft.

Not sure how I missed the Shaq Thompson news before today. Huge loss. Maybe insurmountable.

Dude was playing like crap on a bum knee and it took them almost 2 months to do something about it

The sequence is weird af, he wasn’t playing well but no one else to replace him either?

Is depth at DB for the Bills that much of an issue?

This year probably not much of an impact with him out

Last year he was by far our best safety but that's how it goes you play for 6 years to have one good season and right back to mediocrity

He's never getting any faster.. I think this is it for him in Buffalo

The bar was super low but somehow Rapp always seemed to dive headfirst under it.

I think he's fine with Poyer/Hancock out there.  It would SHOCK me if they traded for a safety.
