As of right now, this is what I see with our remaining schedule.  This prediction is based solely on how all teams are currently playing.

@ Panthers - W

CHIEFS - L

@ Dolphins - W

BUCCANEERS - L

@ Texans - W

@ Steelers - L

BENGALS - L

@ Patriots - L

@ Browns - W

EAGLES - L

JETS - W

That's a prediction of 5 wins and 6 losses for a final record of 9-8, 10-7 if we're lucky.  Again, this is based off of how all teams are playing.  This year's version of the Bills is not as good as last year's and it will show come post season.

Yeah maybe we beat NE but I don't see this team going beyond 10 wins. Too much mediocrity on this roster. Too many soft injury prone players. Too much pressure on Josh demanding that he "does it all".  No one too blame but our beloved McB.

Tim Graham piece = one step away from Tyler Dunne piece

if either or both reported that the sky is blue, you would say “consider the source, he just has an axe to grind” …..

the recent  piece in ESPN on how McD has “changed” validates what Dunne wrote a few years ago..

Repeat after me

Josh and the jags ( excluding Cook)

10 wins looks right to me too. I think we lose to Carolina, the wheels come off and someone is fired, then we put together a few wins. Bucs loss for sure.

Did you guys see the Falcon RB change direction just to flatten Rapp on his way to the end zone? We have serious problems.

Make no mistake …. NONE of this is Sean McDermott’s fault.

Just ask Sean McDermott

How much longer do we trust the McProcess???

What’s very funny is that Beane was getting GLOWING remarks about re-signing his defensive core early this offseason.

lots of season to go left but the returns have been less than ideal.

I was certainly not glowing, it seemed pretty obvious to me. We are doubling down on mid level players and locking out the potential to fill those spots with real difference makers. All of which made me pretty frustrated.

Knox, Milano, Jones, Samuel make up 4 out of our top 10 cap hits this year.

Beane did a pretty damn good job on the initial rebuild, but the 2nd version has been amateur hour.

I saw an early mock draft on Reddit earlier this week and the 1st Round pick was a Defensive Lineman - If we draft a DL in Round 1 again, not only will this place burn down, but fans might burn down the new stadium.

You should see the guys on the DL who on one year deals or in the last year of their deals.  Daquan, Bosa, Ogunjobi, AJE

Spencer Brown is a complete mystery to me.  I've never seen a tackle so good at run blocking and so poor at pass protecting.  The right side of the line has been bad this year.  McGovern hasnt exactly been stellar either.  That said, I still think Dawkins and Edwards are very good.

I think the struggles on the interior could have a lot to do with that.   Brown seems to get beat right off the snap however.  For a guy who is supposed to be a great athlete at tackle he gets beat bad by speed rushers, and outside to inside moves.

May be time to make the change.  Bring some one from the backup list

All good points.   Earlier this week I was scrolling social media and saw a clip of Brady talking about the Super Bowl he won with Tampa.  I stopped and listened.  He said he studied the Chiefs defense closely and by the night before the game he knew Spags' defense and blitz schemes better than the KC players.  He knew where the players were coming from, he knew when they would fake it and drop back into coverage, etc.. Brady said that was his "super power" and before every snap he had the answers to the test and knew exactly where the ball was going.

I guess my point is, we are not that advanced here.  I don't think the coaching this season has been anything close to good...and it's not even up to standards from recent seasons (which also was not good enough vs KC in the playoffs).

Tampa's defense won that SuperBowl.  KC was missing both starting OT's.  The defense had 3 sacks and 10 QB hits.

Brady threw for 201 yards.  Both Tampa RB's were over 5 yards per carry.

The interior of the oline has been brutal in pass pro.

The Oline as a whole has stunk against blitz pick ups.

Glad this piece is confirming what I think most of us have seen with our own eyes - a bad oline with WRs that can’t get open is not optimal.

Couple that with the Bills' Legion of Room defense and the non-stop injuries...it's a wonder we even make the playoffs this year.  Seriously.
