Everyone on Twitter is talking about nothing but the missed DPI but none of it will matter. The officials will mumble off some comment after the game and everyone will forget about it by next week. A minimum 7 point swing in a tight game is just allowed to be decided by high school superintendents. Cool.

So nice to have a defense like the Chiefs where virtually no one is ever hurt.

Not wishing injury.  It’s just f…ing mind boggling.

Watson missed time last year but you can survive missing a CB2 for a while.

Never understood why penalties (called or not), cant be reviewed.

Purpose of review is to improve the quality of calls.  Why not include penalties in that?

Keep coach initiated replays to 2 per game-but include penalties.  Easy and improves integrity of the game.

I think they should just get rid of challenges altogether.  Just have replay assist correct everything obvious immediate in real time without involving anyone on field.  Integrity of game intact and ldoesnt impact flow of game at all

Oh you don't remember when the NFL instituted reviewable DPIs for a single season? Miraculously, exactly zero DPIs were overturned, even ones that looked like they should have been. The NFL used that outcome to declare it a wasted experiment and that was the end of that. So now they can always claim that they tried. And around and around we go...

Thanks. Al Riveron.

The fact that everyone sees the script that the refs are doing everything they can to enable is so damning.

The games aren’t fixed but my god do the refs have a big freakin thumb on the scale.

True, no clue how I forgot that.  Excellent point, and unfortunate outcome.

Its funny how replay assist is used for certain penalties -ie: illegal man downfield, illegal forward pass, but not for others (judgment calls).  Seems like there still is an opportunity to improve on that, but as you said, takes the NFL being more forward thinking
