H2o Posted September 29 Posted September 29 (edited) There have been rumblings about Brown before in Philly, but this may gain some traction this time. Apparently he's not too happy with the direction of the offense at this time and has posted some cryptic tweet/tweets about it. The Eagles could trade him now without too much concern cap-wise. He's 28 and probably has 3 good years in him at least. What say you TBD? First, do you think he would put us over the top if he does become available? And then, what would you be willing to part with for him? Edited September 29 by H2o 3 3 1 1 1 Quote
NickelCity Posted September 29 Posted September 29 He's a beast. But I don't see him leaving Philly. 2 4 Quote
BUFFALOTONE Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Why would you want him complaining about touches here...we are the wrong offense for divas. 17 6 1 Quote
RunTheBall Posted September 29 Posted September 29 (edited) Zero percent chance he leaves Philly. I can’t believe we didn’t give up a 2nd rounder to get him when the Titans idiotically traded him. I’d give up a second in a heart beat right now. Guy is everything we need in a receiver even at the tail end of his career. Edit: As others have pointed out, it was the 18th and 101st pick, not just a second rounder. My bad Edited September 30 by RunTheBall 3 3 Quote
billsbackto81 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Not exactly a fit for an offense that spreads it around. Then there's the cost/compensation which would be high. We need a Safety because Rapp has been 💩. I'd be looking into Justin Simmons if I were Beane. 1 1 Quote

TBBills Fan Posted September 29 Posted September 29 He plays for the 4-0 Eagles and is mad he isn't getting enough touches So why would a team that goes with everybody eats and want receivers who celebrate each other as opposed to getting in their feelings think he would fit? And why would he want to go to a team where he may have a stat line of 2 catches 27 yards in a win and want him to be ok with it? 1 minute ago, RunTheBall said: Zero percent chance he leaves Philly. Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 29 Posted September 29 I knew he would start this after I saw their first game and they barely threw. Thats the problem with diva receivers! He doesn’t care about winning; he wants the ball! 4 Quote
balln Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Could you imagine? McDermott would sit him until he “earned it” then he plays 10 % of the plays in his first 3 games 3 Quote
Blank Stare Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Yes, please! Eagles don’t use him. He’s a beast and would be infinitely more happy here where Josh would get him more than 2 touches a game. Quote

I was excited to get Cooper at the time not realizing he was pretty much done (mentally more than physically I think). Brown is still in his prime. We’d see how quickly that everybody eats stuff would wash away if they ever had an alpha WR again. 2 Quote
Charles Romes Posted September 29 Posted September 29 I think he’d have the same issues here, in terms of there being one football to go around. 2 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 I think it’s clear that the Bills have zero intention of adding a highly priced WR who is going to demand the football not in the concept of the offense. 3 Quote

Agree. And not paying Top 10 WR money is one way to accommodate Josh’s contract. 1 Quote
