Hairston, Strong, and Hancock ALL make the team if healthy, imho. REALLY hope the Bills are actually willing to part with Jackson and/or White and/or Hamlin or whoever at DB, as necessary. Really hope the new additions outperform those retread vets. Ready to watch a defense that's truly aggressive and able to disrupt even top QBs... I've been saying that they can easily cut Jackson, Lewis and Ingram and get them on the PS. I think that with the dearth of safeties, Hamlin might make it by default, but I'm hoping someone else outplays him. As for White, he might make it just based on past history. 3 hours ago, No_Matter_What said: It would be great, but he has really a narrow path to 53. Shakir, Coleman, Samuel and Palmer are locks, and we just gave Moore $2,5M guaranteed. So Prather needs to outperform Moore by large margin to force Beane to cut Moore despite the dead money. Not impossible, but not likely imo. If he shows anything, they might be forced to keep 6 WRs. 1 hour ago, Doc Brown said: If that's true than Chris Trapasso should find a new day job. Lol. Nobody reputable had Hancock above Barron. Maybe. But time will tell who is actually better. 1 Quote

Trapasso's final draft board was certainly not influenced by the consensus. FWIW he had: #17 Maxwell Hairston (below Revel & Morrison) #34 T.J. Sanders #70 Deone Walker #98 Landon Jackson 1 Quote

For all the crap I have given McD and Beane, I will say, they don’t appear to be afraid to cut bait with vets they just signed if they aren’t the best option. I do feel like Tre will probably be safe as he’s genuinely a good player, even if not the athlete he once was, but I could easily see them going for all their draft picks over Jackson and the guys that haven’t really claimed playing time even after being on the PS. Now if one of those guys happens to shine this camp, then good for them and it may make it harder for the rookies, but all of the guys they took have better physical tools, and honestly all were better college players. I will be genuinely surprised if the entire secondary minus Benford and Rapp isn’t different this year. One would hope Bishop claims a spot and in an ideal world maybe Rapp ends up a back up to him and one of the rooks takes the FS spot. 1 Quote

Really solid routes. Got open and made some impressive catches - DE Landon Jackson is a massive dude. Has a presence! - “Blocking TE” Jackson Hawes was catching passes everywhere - Really impressed by quick-twitch/change of direction from CB Max Hairston - CB Dorian Strong physically certainly looks the part of an outside NFL CB." 9 hours ago, JerseyBills said: Yes sir, much needed size inside. From another topic... gonna drop this here... 6 minutes ago, BearNorth said: Other player we may be overlooking is UDFA SS Wande Owens - listed as from U of New Hampshire, but played at Yale so one would expect a pretty intelligent player, which we know McD likes. 9.59 RAS, 5'11 212 - so thicker than your typical DB - 4.58 40 and has a lot of explosion - vertical and long jump are 9.9+ RAS grades.
