In fact, I’d prefer it. Is it still a thing to buy a team’s season highlights hype video? I’d still buy ours if we win the SB, and not care a whit how our opponents fell down along the way with or without our help! 🤗 Quote

I don’t think that chiefs front 7 could do much of anything without jones in the lineup and that whole spagnuolo scheme would completely fall apart. As many accolades as he gets Chris jones is still underrated somehow if wentz is your classic Chad henne backup qb level then yea I don’t think you’d take a mahomes injury over a jones injury 😂 Jones is incredible. He’s a top 5 defensive player. At the same time, he didn’t have a sack since week 4 until yesterday. He could be prime Lawrence Taylor and the answer is still Mahomes. Having a HOF QB, with 3 Super Bowl MVPs, is always more dangerous than anyone else. 1 Quote
Orlando Buffalo Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I think the Chiefs rely on him less than the Bills rely on Josh, I think they would still be a quality opponent of he went down if they had two weeks to prep for the begining of playoffs. Quote

sven233 Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Would I feel bad? Would I be mad because we didn't beat them at their best? Nah.....screw that. When's the last time we played them in the Playoffs at full health without key, important starters either out or playing severely injured? Last year alone, we literally had our best corner playing on 1 leg and our young, stud MLB that pretty much makes this defense go, out with an injury. That's not even to mention Benford, Davis, Rapp, Spector, and the other guys that were out and Von still a shadow of his former self. We literally dragged someone off the couch that was planning on going to Disney come in and try to cover one of the best TEs of all time. To this day, you will never convince me that we weren't the better team last season and, if we were completely healthy, that game never would have come down to a missed kick at the end. It's really hard to overcome that many injured missing starters and key contributors yet, quite honestly, we still should have won that game. So yeah.....screw that. When's the last time they actually had a serious injury in the Playoffs? If it happened to them, so be it. Every team it seems, except for them, has had to deal with losses at key positions. So, if for once they were to miss Mahomes, Kelce, Chris Jones, Punkchecko, etc., I couldn't care less. I am sure their fans weren't shedding a tear with Bernard and the other guys we had out last year. 2 Quote

nedboy7 Posted November 30 Posted November 30 If any team we beat on the way to the Lombardi is not fully healthy it would bring life time of shame to the city of Buffalo. 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 30 Posted November 30 8 hours ago, QB Bills said: If I could pick anyone from that roster to miss a playoff game against the Bills, it's definitely Chris Jones, not Kermit. consider our D has been without basically our best players now for several years— Von, Milano, Tre White, etc. Imagine if that D missed Chris jones or even one of their LBs for stretches? It’s like how the Steelers are the no. 1 D with TJ Watt and the no. 32 D without him. Quote
US Egg Posted November 30 Posted November 30 The big question is: If Mahomes got hurt would Taylor Swift show up? Quote

frostbitmic Posted November 30 Posted November 30 If Mahomes gets hurt you obviously delay the season until he's well enough to continue. Quote

Or who here would give the "Jerry Seinfeld" "That's a shame" sarcastic remark.... The dude is getting pummeled by his crap offensive line and it can legitimately happen.... Same with Lamar too I figure it's just one game. If Buffalo meets and beats a Mahomesless Chiefs team in the playoffs, they would have to play at least one real good, real tough opponent in their next game. Quote
Scott7975 Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I don't care how we get there. Just get there. Against Mahomes, against Nate Peterman. I just don't care. Mahomes has faced many an injured team over the years at just the right times for easy wins when their stars were out. Quote

The media would still carry on all next year about how we can't beat them in the playoffs. Quote
BearNorth Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Cyborg at least on Josh's TD Scramble, did a pretty good job of neutralizing Chris Jones, hoping that's a hopeful sign for our guy going forward. Quote
Goin Breakdown Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Play who you play when you play them. I don't care who's in the field. Too bad so sad. I don't want people injured but no one cares at the end of the day who played. Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted December 1 Posted December 1 No. I want mahomes fully healthy because I don't want any excuses when Allen eviscerates their defense in the AFC championship Quote

atlbillsfan1975 Posted December 1 Posted December 1 The only thing stopping the Bills this year is an injury to Josh. This topic sets off my BBFS, like we are waking the Karma Football Gods by having this discussion. Let's always hope everyone stays healthy and may the best team win. I will take a totally healthy, or near to it, Bills team against any other healthy team. 1 Quote
