They had both of those guys, and they lost to a Seattle team at home that we throttled on the road. There is something foul with the Niners this year that goes beyond their roster on paper.

This will be by no means an easy game. In fact depending on who plays for both sides, a -6 spread is too much.  This is a must win for Shanahan.

It was a must win for the Jets when they played us and the Fins when they played us too...apparently the Bills don't seem to care.

But maybe it's because the Bills only play them once every four years and there's nobody on that team over the years I recall despising........  they might be the team in the NFL I have the most neutral feelings too.  

I was the same way towards them for most of my life. In 2019, they came to New Orleans for a game. It was normal to see opposing fans come to New Orleans for a game. It happened all of the time. It is an elite away game trip. I remember, in my 14 years living there, the 49ers fans were the most obnoxious. That was surprising to me. They were worse than Dallas. They were even worse than Philly which was a little shocking to me. After that weekend, I had a new found dislike for that franchise.

Related to the game for those who may be travelling in from out of town or might live close to the departure point and may not want to drive back and forth to the stadium, we need 2 more riders today to confirm the Rally Bus leaving from the Aloft Buffalo Airport hotel to the stadium and back. Great way to go to the game to be able to comfortably have a few drinks without driving or worrying about parking. Gets you to the stadium around 4:30pm to allow for some tailgating time and picks up after the game ends.

No nothing significant. This game is on josh and the offense in my opinion. SF defense has been weaker than usual this year but they’re likely to get Bosa and Ward back this week. Not sure on Greenlaw. Either way, they have to keep the ball away from Shanahan and that offense. Like the ravens game, they’re a bad matchup for us with all those weapons especially kittle. Plus they love to pound the rock, something I still don’t trust us stopping. 6 point spread is crazy to me if purdy, Trent Williams, Bosa and Ward are all back.

Ehh, I really don’t want them to feel they need to run the ball more against this team.  If there’s one major concern this year it’s run D, also just so happens to be the strength of almost all of the real contenders O.  A bit scary.

The cure for that is to get a two score lead and hold it into the second half.  Make them pass the ball and play the way they don’t want to.

 

Screen passes, passes to the backs and kittle are what scare me the most in this game.  Everyone runs on Buffalo but it has only been the winning formula for one team, Baltimore.  
 

this is going to be like playing the dolphins again only this team is more talented up front and Miami is more talented at the skill positions.   SF linebackers (if healthy) are a real issue.

They will be desperate, but they are also very vulnerable 

 

No reason to lose to them at home coming off of a bye unless the coach doesn't have them focused and ready to play

I live in 49ers territory. The feeling around here is that the team has mailed it in for the season, especially the defense. CMC is done as a RB. They say their window is closed and they are in rebuilding mode. Time to get rid of all the expensive contracts. The feeling is they will be destroyed by Buffalo.

 

In addition, they will have more flight time. It is usual for the 49ers to stay over when they have back-to-back trips to the Central or Eastern time zones, but this time they have to go back for Thanksgiving
