You can tell they wanted him bad and were extremely nervous he'd be taken

I’m fine with that if that’s their guy. McD is still the coach no matter how much I hate it lol…not fine with reaching on a DT we probably could’ve had if we kept our round 4 pick and passing on multiple deep threat WRs that we still don’t have on our team (Franklin, Walker and even Baker). Let’s help Josh out more please. He’s the only reason we’re a SB threat

Bishop will start.

Second rounders don’t start at all for NFL teams??  Is this a new rule?

How the hell did the Bills get away with putting a late round pick like Benford out there?!?!

I wouldn’t be shocked if they bring him along in a package role to get his feet wet

even Kincaid rolled in slow until the Knox injury

Things no coach can teach are size and speed/athletic ability and he has all of those things for the safety position.  I like this pick much better then other 2 choices ,  I  just hope Beanne focuses in on speed with his day 3 choices.  Tired of hearing about high motor and good character guys,  you think Andy Reid cares about high character guys.

Are you kidding, he marks them down a round.

I'm watching and reading a ton on this guy, and I love what I see.

He might be the gem of the entire draft for us.

I think he'll be loved in Buffalo sooner than later.

I was just going to share this post.  I love Griffin's expression.

Like the warpaint too.  Not too different from what Poyer did.

Shows attitude and aggression.

They had to get an exemption from the league I believe.

Ya I don't know what Sal is talking about.

Bills literally picked Torrence late 2nd round last year and he started every snap for them lol

It’s great how he uses “shoot” in every other sentence. lol.  He probably does it in place of swearing, ya know, being in Salt Lake City and all.  Gotta keep it clean.

The Bishop quote I like the best is the one about "adding value."

I wish more posters around here had that concern.

Culture guy. God fearing man. Loves the good book.

Heck, he's a Bishop.

I wonder if he missed his calling... maybe he was supposed to become "a man of the cloth?"

Maybe he'll become an ordained minister.

If we can keep Samuel off the field that'd be awesome

Also, I don't want anybody telling me McDermott doesn't run the draft.

McDermott doesn't run the draft.

Don't forget about that one detail... PSLs or something like that?

They now have Shakir, C. Samuel, Coleman, Kincaid, Knox.  They play with only one ball.

A lot of wrs left some, like thrash and rice, may be a better for than Franklin at this point

He just helps people find God another way.

I don't follow the college game.  Is anyone bummed that Green Bay took Bullard two picks before we took Bishop?  Bullard's highlights looked kind of awesome.  How do the two rate vis-a-vis each other?

Bullard is a short/stocky Strong Safety type that will come up and plug the box, like Poyer's role. We already have 2 of those in Rapp and Mike Edwards.

We were missing the long, rangy Free Safety ballhawk to replace Hyde. That is Bishop. And he can come up and hit better than Hyde.

I like Bullard, but was hoping for Bishop or Bullock. Happy we got Bishop. Exactly what we needed.

I think the point Sal is making is that no one is just handing Bishop the starting job day 1. He's going to need to win it from Rapp, Edwards, Hamlin and Lewis.

Now, I think he beats one of the  handily.
