Ahead of the 2022-23 season, Washington was promoted to senior defensive assistant. I disagree, AJ Espensa went to a less than 2 sack guy to a guy with 6.5 sacks last season. I beleive the assistant HC title means Bills can block interviews for DC. He doesn't seem like a guy that would be on anyone's list for a DC job but who knows. A guy named Jon Embree is the Assistant HC and Tight Ends coach with the Dolphins. Anthony Weaver is the DL and Assistant HC with the Ravens. Prob trying to lock in consistency on D after Leslie's exit. I wonder if not naming a DC and not "firing" Frazier could end in bills still getting a comp pick if he gets a HC gig?
