Wash, Cleveland, JAX, and Chicago, all proposing domes now. 🤷♂️🤦♂️🤷♂️ 1 2 1 Quote

The term used in the industry is ‘substantial completion’ and signifies the day that the project can be turned over to the Owner for its intended use. I’d have been shocked if it was anything else. The fact that there’ll be crews working around in a brand new facility (that’s only used one day every other week) is not the least bit unexpected. Exactly. It’s basically like a “punch list” to be completed. The lengths to which some will go in this forum to be critical of this organization is something. 1 1 1 1 Quote

Apparently, it'll still going to open in July with normal games for the season while construction is finishing. Grab a hard hat and reflective vest and look for the workers entrance. If they said it'll be done Spring 2027, then the perception is OMG they got it done early. But by saying it'll be done for the 2026 season, this makes it look late. Always under promise so you can over deliver. So long as it's open for 2026 season & even if it isn't so long as they've got a place to play, I don't really care. Would be awkward if they tore the old one down then realized the new one wasn't going to be ready in time. 😂 Quote

I don't think they have ever said it will be 100% complete i.e. "done" by 2026 opening day, they simply said it will be ready ("substantially complete and ready for football"). You can't tell people it will be completed in Spring 2027 it would be too confusing to season ticket buyers, as evidenced by the number of people right here that don't even understand this latest news report. Anyway here's a recent video. Edited Saturday at 11:50 PM by QCity 2 2 Quote

They said 60% of the seats are covered — which includes the seats in sections that are underneath other seats. The new stadium set up is very vertical and “stacked” — it appears that fans are going to really be on top of the action. Edited Sunday at 10:49 AM by eball 1 Quote
vanhalen26 Posted Sunday at 12:33 PM Posted Sunday at 12:33 PM I wonder what this is all about. It’s reported that the Bills reduce available PSLs by 3,725 to accommodate NFL holds and sponsorships. This seems exceedingly high, Let’s say each player can get 4 seats and they keep another 500 for the team admin and NFL requests - that’s still under 1,000 seats. I wonder if the team is just holding a bunch back so they can have an allotment (besides the standing room) to sell and manage on their own. Realistically they don’t need almost 4,000 for team and nfl requests. I also wonder where these holdbacks are. If they are for team and nfl and sponsor requests, I’d imagine they are good seats. Ha, I was looking for that too. Not sure what time of day this was taken, but it looks like the shadow line will be more vertically oriented on the field. 1 Quote
enoff Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago Wow, shadows may be an enormous issue, especially for 1:00 pm games early in the season. The old studium rarely had a shadow issue. Some places, like Indy, Atlanta, and strangely, Minneapolis, have such overbearing shadows that whole portions of the game are almost impossible to watch. I hope they took this into account in laying out the field, otherwise, people will be very upset after paying a fortune for a PSL. 1 Quote
