The only way to produce is by getting a high volume of targets. However Hopkins will draw attention and force defenses to not focus solely on stopping Diggs. If they double Diggs, Hopkins can feast and vice versa. 2. Can't argue the fact but can add context. He missed the first 6 games from a PED suspension (non-injury) and the last 2 he likely would have played if there was anything worth playing for. The season was lost no reason to risk further injury. 3. The beauty of this move is that it would allow the Bills to move players around. Gabe, Hopkins, and Diggs can all be on the field with Diggs operating out of the slot. The guy hadn’t missed a game in any season either I don’t believe until he tore his mcl in 2021. Now he’s injury prone 🤷🏼♂️. The guy is still a stud. Most likely took peds or some banned substance in hopes of recovering sooner. This coming year, with Diggs - Davis - Hopkins, along with Shakir and Harty both being inside/outside guys, Diggs would likely be featured a ton in the slot.
