NFL Week 10 - Vikings at Bills post game thread

I am just as sick as the next guy but this is a team that the worst thing they can give you is hope.  After that goal line stand and the Josh fumble with 44 seconds, you still get a chance after tying it with a field goal.  The crowd is in the mood to celebrate. Josh is running like a bull, they get to the twenty yard line and it;'s like you can do this.  What a party this is gonna be.  And then BOOM, play from Hell.  Never fails.  Worst thing the Bills can give ya is hope.  How do I defend myself from ridicule with the rest of my NFL buddies?  No way.  I'm afraid to show my face.

They're the ones calling the defense that puts Dane Jackson on an island with Jefferson all game long.

How many late game situations do we have to see this defense give up 3rd and 4th and forever?

McDermott and Frazier are killing this team. At least Dorsey is in his 1st season at a coordinator position. He has room to grow.

McDermott and Frazier are who they are.

A few of my angry post game opinions:

1. Loss is heavily, heavily on josh. Not just because of that last int. But he is NOT making reads. On his first end zone int he looked away from a wide open duke Johnson who had a walk in first down and possible TD. Instead he forces an int. Last int. He had an easy 1st down with a rush, Instead forces a mind blowing int.

2. Frazier, we get it, you have your ways and won't deviate. But my God, who else is gonna get the ball on the 50ish 3rd and impossibles we gave up today? Change it up, give your rookie cb some help.

3. Not kicking the FG, hind sight is 20/20. But with the way this team has played the past few weeks in the 4th and the way the vikings have played in the 4th, 3 points becomes really important. That being said, josh missed a wide open duke johnson and it was a good play call, just not the best decision to go for it.

4. Not In love with dorsey but I'm also not angry with him. It's easy to point at dorsey when drives die. But 2nd and 2, Singletary stutter steps into a defender. Later Singletary fumbles. Diggs drops a pass off his chest, josh not checking down to wide open rbs, josh fumbles a snap, josh 2 end zone ints.. just a few drive killers today that dorsey has no control over.

5. I don't feel like the sky is falling, this is a good team. But are showing they can't make the big plays when it counts and can't win if josh in a funk. Can't wait for tre and and groot to get healthy. But josh needs to do some soul searching.

The sneak call at your half yard line is not a smart call. It just isn't.

This roster is loaded with talent which is why they blow a lot of teams out and often get away with making bad mistakes.

Coaching is why they struggle in close games. Attention to detail. Knowing the situation.

ahem. AKA Playcalling. Thats my opinion. Situational awareness indeed. Its a very valid point

Who the F gives a crap about whether Josh Allen gets MVP?  I'm kind of sick about hearing all that talk.  We need to win games and championships.  If he is worrying about being MVP we have a real problem.

Oh, I never cared. But for weeks and weeks all I saw on this board was MVP! MVP! And Super Bowl!  And, historically great offense.

I saw the same team I saw last year. Same flaws and same bad coaching.

Now no one cares? Interesting.

Bandwagon/fair weather fans are weak of heart. It’s more embarrassing than taking a loss, especially against a team that has lost 1 game, 2 games…y’all need to suck it up or move on to whatever the flavor of the month is.

It’s about entertainment, your not getting a check, relax and enjoy the ride. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Weak.

Dorsey should be fired ASAP.  If McD wont then he can go also

At the very least he ..and Frazier.. need to do some serious self evaluation and figure out what they’re doing wrong.    The defense let the game get away every bit as much as then offense.

Third place in the division, 6 interceptions in the last 3 games, poor play calling and even worse execution. They literally gave this game away  a few times, unreal. Going from the #1 seed to a fight for a wildcard spot now, how “Billsy”. These guys believed too much of their own hype

This is what happens when there is no discipline and only fun, fun, fun. Karaoke Tuesday night basement, playing around in the second half of the G. Bay game. What NFL team does that and thinks they can turn it on and off when they want? McD needs to take a hard look in the mirror. Josh, Dorsey and Frazier have been problems the last few games but McD deserves a big part if the blame as well.

This team was odds on favorite for the super bowl team as Josh was for MVP.

Now, the playoffs are not even guaranteed and Josh is imploding.

Such a disappointing season.

That’s all on the media. They were building up the Bills, and everyone was buying into the hype. As a long time Buffalo sports fan, you learn it’s ok to have faith, but don’t ever get your expectations to high. They’ll always let you down.
