Not sure how Odell expects to get a multi year deal when he won’t even work out with teams.  I think there’s definitely some truth to what was reported with Dallas.  Best case scenario seems like a one-year deal, but there seems to be doubt as to whether he’ll be ready by the playoffs

End thread. He ain’t playing this year

I think this a definite possibility.  He was injured in February 2022 and probably had surgery shorty after.  That puts his recovery at about 10 months, which is on the shorter end of the recommended 9-12 months.  Out of all that hype, he might not even sign

It’s deal for the next year or two, but by coming back this year the cap hit and structure might be more flexible. It also puts winning teams in contention for his services without having to brush off the others egregiously before March.

Coach and Josh both seemed upbeat, at the possibility of signing him.  We shall see.

He's obviously not 100% yet. But in say 3-4 weeks, sounds like that would be the time he needs to get back into football shape/learn the playbook. Then he'd be building chemistry with Josh and the offense, around the Bengals / Pats game.

Obvious thing, is if the money is right for us/him without prohibiting us to resign some key pieces.  If he can only contribute for the playoffs, that's exactly what we need...goal would be getting the chemistry down leading up to that (while continuing his rehab).

He'd primarily be in the slot/another Diggs type that we can move around.  Even at 90%, he's an upgrade over what we have in the slot currently.

This is at least the 2nd time you've tried to end this thread.... but yet it keeps on growing?!:lol:

I have to keep coming back daily …. JUST IN CASE there’s some news. Then invariably….. it’s just nonsense … Like pruning weeds.

I guess but committing a two-year deal to a player that won’t even work out to show where he is at is a risk.  Like Jerry, I’m not too sure many GM’s would make that deal

Pretty sure when he actually signs somewhere the thread will come to an end.

Ugh I can’t wait. I bet the “favorite” in the odds of OBJ outcome……. Is…… he goes unsigned this year . I’d pound the table

giants ? No way. They know they’re a qb away first

dal? Jerry / and other reports out of dal basically say no way

buf? Beane isn’t gonna do dumb *****

So what if Buffalo signs OBJ and he never contributes this season? and what if Von’s knee doesn’t allow him to continue this season?  That would be something.  Maybe those guys sheer presence in the locker room are enough to will the Bills to the SB. What are those chances!?

So wait, you want the thread to end so you keep coming back to it and feeding it?

This is like saying you want your firepit to burn out, while adding another log.
