And I remember Barry Lillis (before he dried out and became a minister) sticking wet paper towels on the map over the south towns saying that there was going to be a soaking rain there. As an aside, I just watched it again for the first time in years. I couldn't help but notice the downtown area looks pretty much exactly the same now as it did then, and this thing was shot in 1980. So glad the Tlkin' Proud campaign out BEFORE rap music - the only thing worse than a Buffalo Chamber of Commerce commercial with lame lyrics about Buffalo would have been a rap version of the same (by 1985 every lame white person thought they could rap and send a message about anything - yikes).
