This team is built for a DOME-Bills kill another narrative

Perhaps now we can see why McDermott wanted to be able to run the ball with success.

The Falcons knew we were running it in the 2nd half and could not stop it. It's almost like late season games often come down to being tough and physical. Who knew?

Oh, Sean McDermott did. That's right.

All bad weather does is reduce both teams to mediocrity. Unfortunately elite teams are brought down further. Hooray for us for winning but why would you want to inflict that on yourself?

Folks who want to build a $2b dome to fit a particular offensive skill group and strategy are borderline insane.

It's not that.

It's that the rules for football as we enter the 22nd century are leading to the construction of teams built to play fast, untouched, and in domes.

That isn't changing.

You can't build a team around the "elements" of your home city.

A team fighting for it's season. Correct.

A team that is bottom 12 or worse in most meaningful defensive rushing stats. Correct.

Not saying the Bills cant run the football but Atlanta is not a good team regardless of what they are fighting for.

The price tag on dome vs no dome isn’t a reason to not build a dome.

I personally like where the stadium is and like the idea of a dome. But Rodgers, Brady (at Pats) and Mahomes play outside in bad weather and are considered great, so getting a dome to just make Allen more potent isn’t a strong argument either.

As an aging boomer, I well remember how tough the Vikings were in home December and playoff games in the Met before moving into domes

They have had no identity ever since. I’d prefer the ability to play outdoors in winter

A Seattle styled Stadium would work for me. Roof over all stands, not much end zone seating. Uncovered field, covered seats and big concourses

Yes, they ran the ball against Atlanta. They needed to win a game like that.

Allen has proven he can pass in bad weather and run in it.  We still need to develop the offense more for the plays when Allen hands off.  Get better  guards and a second TE that blocks like a son of B word and has good hands.  Add a big, fast NFL running back. Beane should put more emphasis on this, it will make our offense much more diverse.  It would open things up for Allen if they have to bring a safety up instead of 2 deep most of the time.

We need this part of the game no matter what kind of stadium you have.

This makes as much sense as a Snow Blower in Miami...
