So now its off to Venezuela to extend the hand of friendship to Maduro and tell him we were just kidding about overthrowing his government and proclaiming Juan Guido as the "real" President. If they are serious about giving Ukraine the planes then just have the Ukrainian pilots drive across the border and fly them back to Ukraine. The major issue of Donetsk and Luhansk is that only about a third of those regions were Russian controlled. Ukrainians who want to live in Ukraine inhabit the other two thirds. It would sort of be like if Erie and Niagra country declared their independence from NY State and then demanded that every other county past Syracuse had to be given to Erie and Niagra.
