Bummer about Darryl. I just don't see what Addison brings us but what do I know.

It's not only what he brings, also is how expensive his contract is, this make more difficult to trade him, also in a more reduced role he can deliver better results, at least as pass rusher. Epenesa as  starter and Addison in relief will make the defense better

Source: The #Bills are trading DE Darryl Johnson to the #Panthers.

I don't like that. means we have to keep Tw. Jones and Addison sticks, and we give up a  good young prospect. We'll see what we get I guess

Since we get the higher of Carolina's or Vegas's 6th, I suppose we are rooting for Gruden to flame out..  Shouldn't be a problem.  Jon: Please start Peterson and ship out Carr...  you know you want to...  Do it... Do it now!!!

Davis Webb had a perfect preseason IMO. Could not have hit the sweet spot of performance any better. Entrenched himself as a totally viable emergency option, but not a threat to land on another team’s 53.

Davis Webb isn’t good, even for a backup.

Addison is this year's Murphy. Old vet on the last year of a deal whom they keep around for experience purposes basically.

WHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you old enough to remember how we got Jack Kemp?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Kemp

"In 1962, Kemp broke his middle finger two games into the season and was unable to play. He persuaded his doctors to set his broken finger around a football, so that his grip would not be affected once the finger healed. Chargers coach Sid Gillman put Kemp on waivers to try to "hide" him.[45] Buffalo Bills coach Lou Saban noticed that Kemp was available and claimed him for a $100 waiver fee on September 25, 1962,[46] in what sportswriter Randy Schultz has called one of the biggest bargains in professional football history.[30] The Dallas Texans and Denver Broncos also attempted to claim Kemp, but he was awarded to Buffalo by AFL commissioner Joe Foss.[47]..."

Was he that good of a young prospect?  He was a liability on defense before this preseason.  I was all aboard the trade Addison train but I am fine with this.  Get something from the rooms that have good talent instead of cutting good talent.

He's a good QB in the room, ie AVP type which not a bad thing for a 3rd string QB.

4th string for now. Turbinski is t going anywhere. Fromm better than Webb.

That's a safe bet, the question is does Fromm go too?

Mitch may only be around for one year, I guess they need to decide if Fromm is good enough to be long term solution at backup.
