No catches...even mainstays like Quinton Morris and Lance Lenoir had a catch in the game...granted they ran the ball a lot more in the beginning, but it would have been nice to see him carry over his training camp heroics into actual game action. 3 2 7 1

Expand Its clear that their goal going in was to establish the running game since most of their weapons were not playing in this game. It was a big issue for them last year and they want to improve on that this year. It was boring for sure but something that they wanted against live competition. Plus it was a basic playbook of not showing much for the season. Most of the pass plays were waggles and rolls aimed for the TE group. Very basic stuff. I told a coworker last night it was very encouraging to me that the Bills backups were controlling the game against the Lions starters. Shows the depth the Bills have as they were up 3-0 then 10-3 5 1

Expand I know. And it's so easy for receivers to make plays even if the QB doesn't throw to him.
