Was just going to post something similar.  You can gauge by the increasing attacks on Trump that the data is showing positive trends of hitting a peak sooner than many expected.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/who-director-faces-growing-calls-to-resign-over-handling-of-coronavirus-china

Amid persistent criticism that his organization failed to properly oversee China's coronavirus response and worked to downplay the communist nation's responsibility for the pandemic, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus is facing growing calls for his resignation from American politicians and others around the world.

Calls have been led by Sen. Martha McSally, R-Ariz., who last week on Fox Business' "Mornings with Maria" told host Maria Bartiromo that she has "never trusted a communist" and that the Chinese government's "cover-up of this virus that originated with them has caused unnecessary deaths around America and around the world... I think Dr. Tedros needs to step down."

She continued on Friday, placing part of the blame for China's lack of transparency on the WHO director-general.

CORONAVIRUS: WHAT TO KNOW

Dr. Tedros deceived the world. At one point, he even praised China’s ‘transparency' during its coronavirus response efforts despite a mountain of evidence showing the regime concealed the severity of the outbreak. This deception cost lives. https://freebeacon.com/coronavirus/calls-mount-for-who-chief-to-resign/

MARTHA MCSALLY SAYS WHO BOSS SHOULD RESIGN OVER CHINA CORONAVIRUS 'COVER-UP'

"Dr. Tedros deceived the world," she said. "At one point, he even praised China's 'transparency during its coronavirus response efforts' despite a mountain of evidence showing the regime concealed the severity of the outbreak. This deception cost lives. "

Tedros' woes have been caused in large part by his regular backing of China during the coronavirus outbreak.

In early February, days after President Trump put in place a travel ban for foreign nationals who had recently been to China, Tedros panned coronavirus responses that "unnecessarily interfere with international travel and trade," according to Reuters.

That’s a way to often over used phrase. Yes, we depend on these experts carrying out their duties but there’s something called The Standard of Care in most professions and while I’ve been super critical of Trump’s advisors it’s not been established they were ‘negligent’.

Go back a week or two in this thread and he was all over the place predicting doom on an epic scale. It wasn't even trolling, it was sincere fear on his part (or seemed to be) to the point of me being legitimately concerned he was going to do more harm to himself than good.

I was being facetious, considering all the people asking/wondering if Trump has blood on his hands.

Soooo.  Trump was right when he said that he didn't believe that Cuomo would need 40k ventilators?

You know, the 40k ventilators that the media incessantly hammered Trump over for not somehow magically pulling it out of his ass?  Those 40k ventilators?

Understood

I hate when the media hacks, who are nothing more than spectators, keep screaming hyperbole at the players on the field. This is a REAL challenge they’re facing....not a football game.

Looking back at Trump's schedule before/during the early days of the breakout and his trip to India looks much more interesting than it did before. Especially when you consider how eager he was to discuss the meds.

More of that timeline for clarity:

2/23: Grenell moved to acting DNI

2/24: Trump travels to India, asks Congress for $1.25 billion to fight Coronavirus

2/25: CDC warns 70% will contract Covid-19

2/25: Trump returns from India.

On a daily basis, Kushner, Kudlow and Navarro routinely battle each other for who's the largest moron in the cabinet.  I think Kushner is dangerously stupid.  Kudlow probably still thinks the virus is contained and Navarro just likes making Trump happy.

I don't buy for a second that the United States was caught completely by surprise by what was happening in China.  It's just that we either didn't care, were too distracted, or not smart enough to figure it out, and that's on *everybody* in Washington.

Wrong! It’s all on Dr Fauchi.  Go back and watch his public statements just hours before we started to shut things down. The guys you cite are not medical pandemic experts! Fauchi’s judgement was clouded by his misplaced professional respect for his friends in the WHO. He was lied to!

That was fast.   Could be precaution, but sadly also emblematic of rapid deterioration that's been observed in some NYC cases.

It was a joke for me in 2017... then slightly less funny in 2018. By 2019 it had become toxic to the point of addling minds.

wow.  i can't even comprehend how demented you must have to be to have that thought (Glenn Kirschner), let alone actually put it out for the world to see.  Twitter is a contemporary "running with scissors".

It had seemed like the Brits were already furious (as they, and the world should be) and planning on quite a response to China, after this was all done.

Should Boris (or any other leader of one of the major nations) succumb to this, China should also stop exporting hats, because they are going to need to hold on to them all and brace for what is to come.

At this point I just laugh at all this drama over a obvious hoax. It is scary that such mass manipulation is possible. I guess this particular psyop is much easier to debunk due to the access citizen journalists have. All hero's. If it's so easy to get the entire world to shut down how many other things are products of manipulation? How many wars have we signed off on? How may government regulations and on and on.

Anyway these people independently recording the bullshite are doing great work. The pooch dropping deuce at the 8.40 mark in front of the hospital is a perfect metaphor.

Of course hospitals aren't busy on the outside right now.

There are no elective surgeries, and no visitors allowed.

Have you calmed down a bit and lowered your estimations about how many would be killed by this bug yet? Or are you still in the fear loop?
