Yeah, but the U.S. president says mean things about our press.

Yes, but you see, they're in a highly-dangerous job. That some foreign journalist got killed in another country under completely different circumstances conclusively PROVES that Trump is incredibly dangerous to our super heroic media.

Jim Acosta has just awarded himself a silver star for his heroism in the face of mean tweets.

the pinko paper of Canada tells me Iran deliberately aimed not to hurt an American, as if they could hit a cow in the behind with a shovel

but then they kill 57 Canadians on a passenger jet, and... well...:.::  reporters here are more punchdrunk than CNN

The missiles Iran used have an error in aiming of +/- 500 yards.  Meaning that when they're launched the safest place to be is pretty much where they're aimed.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Iran intentionally avoided killing any Americans.  They know Trump ain't ***** around and the next time we hit them it's going to be a lot harder.

"The United States has done terrible things in the Middle East. To even casual observers of the region, this should be clear enough. That, however, doesn’t mean there is a moral equivalence between Iran and the United States. Elevating America as a somehow unique source of evil takes necessary self-criticism and turns it into narcissism. It insists on making us the exceptional ones, glorifying ourselves by glorifying our sins. To suggest that American officials are at the rarefied level of the deliberate, systematic mass murder and sectarian cleansing that Soleimani helped orchestrate isn’t just wrong; it’s silly."

New videos out of Iran show banners of Soleimani and Khamenei getting TRASHED

Weird. We were under the impression from watching the MSM that Iranians loved General Qassem Soleimani, but this video out of Iran shows otherwise:

This seems perfectly normal...

Qatar to offer Iran $3 billion for Ukrainian plane victims

Quote

Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani is in Tehran on Sunday amid regional tensions following the US killing of Iranian commander and Iran accidentally shooting down a Ukrainian jetliner.

According to several sources, the reason for the visit is for the Emir of Qatar to offer President Hassan Rouhani $3 billion in compensation for the 176 passengers who lost their lives following Iran’s admission that it shot down the Ukraine-bound aircraft after mistaking it for a ‘hostile target’.

In a statement, Sheikh Tamim was quoted by the Iranian presidency as saying that "Qatar will not forget Iran's position on the sanctions imposed on Doha,” in a tacit nod of acknowledgment for past Iranian support. .

Uh-oh.

The Islamic Republic is fixing up its toy another round.

Given recent events, maybe they should convert it to a cruise liner.

"Iran is repairing its imitation aircraft carrier, likely preparing it for a new round of exercises during which it will probably get blown up. The “carrier,” a mockup built up from a floating barge, was first built in the early 2010s and then used for target practice. The barge is being rebuilt, presumably for more punishment, in an exercise with decidedly more sinister undertones than the first time around."

Totally agree. But let's keep it that way. Trump's wrecking ball directed at the free press, his contempt for our Constitution, his abuse of power and constant lies are a threat to our Constitutional order. We have a republic, if we can keep it.

LET’S HOPE:

Iran plane crash: Why this could be a watershed moment.

On the international front, the downing of flight PS752 is unlikely to result in further escalation and might even provide an opportunity for defusing some of the tensions which have been simmering over the past few months.

On the domestic front, however, this tragic accident could have much deeper repercussions.

Just days before the flight crashed, Iran displayed an unprecedented level of unity and popular support when millions of people poured on to the streets all over the country to mourn the death of Soleimani.

This seemed to indicate that, when faced with the external threat of military confrontation, Iranians from different political and economic backgrounds could come together and put aside their divisions.

But all the very smartest people assured me that the Suleimani strike would result in a wave of anti-American nationalism.

The protesters all hated Soleimani because he was part of the regime, and a butcher of his own people.  The "outpouring" was forced and now they're getting back to protesting, with an added outcry of shame over the downing of the plane.

These Iranian women are the real warriors, not a bunch of angry broads in pink ***** hats screeching about abortion and whining because Hillary lost.

Women’s March, take note, this is how it’s done.

Well, I hope any movies made about attacking the fake aircraft carrier have a higher production value than their video of the attack on the fake White house.
