Nobody wants political & SJW agendas shoved down their throat when they just want to watch a football game. The kneeling annoyed a lot of people, but I think it'd have been soon forgotten if not for every media outlet covering Kaep's kneeling 24/7, more coverage than the the actual games being played. I consider ESPN a big factor in the whole thing blowing up in Kaep's face. Anybody who says him signing wouldn't be a media distraction for long, is dead wrong. He would've been signed by Baltimore years ago if his dumbass GF wouldn't have insinuated Ray Lewis was a slave to the team owner, during Kaep's contract negotiations. He said the media shoved it down our throats, which is 100% true. The opening of the game became bigger than the games he was in. Is it fair, not really, but it's an unfortunate side effect of having Kaep anywhere near your team. To ignore the circus is not being honest in the argument. They need to keep drafting (and picking up FA QBs) until they find one that can carry an offense.....like really care an offense through the air. This argument has been rehashed on so many different occasions that I feel like I'm having "Deja Vu all over again" (R.I.P. Yogi) with people posting the exact same things over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over (hopefully you get the point) and over and over every time this name comes up. His last season in SF was full of TD's in garbage time when the game was already decided. He is a career 59.8% passer, check the stats http://www.nfl.com/player/colinkaepernick/2495186/careerstats . Is he better than some of the backups in the league? Of course he is. Even at his absolute peak in SF he was under 60% completion rate or a tenth or two above. So I do have room to talk about the realities of the city. it would likely be talked about for 1 week maybe 2. Then would die off UNLESS a certain person needs a distraction and brings it up.
