Tasker is either totally off his rocker or so embedded that he is scared to say what is really going on. On One Bills Live today he painted a picture of how great everything is in the building and truly believes we will go 11-5! I see 9-7 or 10-6 at best- and evenĀ that is iffy after what we have seen this season. Who else thinks 11-5 is a pipe dream?

Ā

9-7 looks like a pipe dream at this point.Ā  I'd be happy with 8-8.Ā  I feel a total collapse is about to happen.Ā  We are moving into the stronger part of the schedule and have shown no signs of growth on offense.Ā  With the defensive weakness' now fully exposed, it's going to be hard for them to really dominate like they did early on.Ā  I believe its lack of personnel on the defensive side, especially on the Dline.Ā  No real run stopper and no real pass rusher.Ā  Buffalo has been getting killed with the same screens and runs to the right side of the line.Ā  Wallace has been abused for several weeks now, and a clear weakness in the secondary.

Ā

Offensively, there is no growth thus far.Ā  It's the same product week after week.Ā  It's actually regressed.Ā  Execution is the main problem, or should I say lack thereof.

Ā

8-8 looks about right, 9-7 if the stars align.

If we can get the Steelers, 10-6 looks ok.Ā  9-7 looks even more realistic.Ā Ā

Ā

However, if we get 10-6....We can be King SchittĀ of Turd Island.Ā  I guess that's better than where we usually are and get us in the wildcard.Ā

8-8 has us beating who? Miami and Jets? No to Denver?

Denver and Jets, and that's asking for much at this point.Ā  We are going to lose in Miami this week.Ā  Going down into the heat against a team on a roll, looking for revenge in a game they should have won.Ā  I don't think we come out with a win there.Ā  Fitz will be ready.

Ā

Denver will be at home and I believe we will have enough at home to win a sloppy game.Ā  Jets at home last game.Ā  Again, I believe we will have enough at home to beat them.Ā  I'm chalking up Cowboys, Steelers, Ravens, Patriots, and Dolphins all as losses.

I have that feeling too.

Ā

I also have the feeling theyā€™ll lose one of the games everybody thinks theyā€™ll win (Miami, Denver orĀ the Jets.)

I think all of the ā€œwe have to win X games because we are going to lose Y gamesā€ arguments are ridiculous.Ā
Ā

all you have to do is look at all of the scores this past week to find out why. Many teams that werenā€™t supposed to win ended up winning.

Ā

we can win or lose any of these games. Some just have better chances than others.

Mcdermott has had 3 years to fix our defense

Ā

3 years later we have no pass rushers. no run stoppers. a mediocre LB group and 2 good DB's. Some of this is also on Beane. this whole "process" thing looks to be sinkingĀ

sure our defense has deficiencies, Ā but we are at least 8-1 with this defense if we had an offense. I think if you wanna look to where the process failed itā€™s the offense, but you canā€™t fault them for trying (in terms of how many pieces were brought in to attempt to make the offense more productive). As much as I hate to say it, it starts with QB & OC, whichever you wanna blame the mostĀ

Itā€™s funny. What did Kyle say fromĀ NFL Films? Any time youā€™re trying to predict week to week in the NFL is a ā€˜fools errandā€™. You hit certain teams when theyā€™re hot and certain teams when theyā€™re cold (ie: see MN last year).Ā
Ā

The Bills are a 6-3 team with a stout D. Ten is possible, maybe more. It all depends on how they handle their own business week to week and the same goes for the opposition. Plus 46 other factors. Iā€™ll let everyone guess who those are. ?Ā

Well, usually we are 4-5 at this point of the year and trying really, really hard to figure how we get to 9-7 or 10-6 for a possible playoff birth.Ā

Ā

It's much easier to think how we go 4-3 over the next 7 games than 6-1 (or 5-2 for a chance).

Ā

If we can't beat the Dolphins, Broncos, Jets and one of the other 4 we don't belong in the playoffs.Ā

All depends which Josh shows up, and it starts this week with Miami.

I'm still guess 9-7 but wouldn't be surprised to see 8-8.Ā

Ā

Honestly not trying to be a downer, but it's hard to see this team hitting 10 wins the way we play.Ā

Ā

The AFC Wildcard spots are looking more competitive too, so playoffs aren't close to guaranteed either.Ā

the the Billsy loss comes when? This week against Mia or in week 17 against the Jets needing a win to secure your playoff spot?

Listening to Almando Salguero on Tuesday makes me think the Bills loss comes this week in Miami.

Ā

They are playing well and have pulled together as a team, trying to prove the world wrong about the tank.

Ā

I'm scared to death for this game!

I don't have time to listen to a 3 hour commercial, to get me to buy tickets and merchandise. I already buy that stuff. Give me Jeremy, Howard, Mike and Chris any day. Tell me the way it really is. Even Sal is starting to lean more toward the Murphy and Taster style, as opposed to being a nice medium between One bills live, and the rest of the station.

Sal got into it a little bit with Schopp yet again on Monday. Ā He is such a hardcore fan of the team he literally can't separate Sal the Buffalonian Bills Fan from "Sal the Reporter".

Ā

He's a joke.

If that's the case then this team isn't worthy of the playoffs. The Bills certainly have their flaws but this is a game they should win...no excuses. I actually think Miami playing them tough the first time will help the Bills out here. They know they aren't good enough to take anyone for granted so I expect the Bills to play much betterĀ this week especially the D who has to be pissed they couldn't close the deal against the Browns. Does anyone really think Miami who sucks bigtime is going to win three in a row. Take the Bills and give the points.

It amazes me that 2 guys (Murph & Tasker)Ā that live around the game 24/7 & it is their job to know about football can know so little !

Ā

I heard Tasker say that the other day on the show & then he layed most of the blame on Josh being a young QB, well i will give him that Allen is still growing but the kid in SF last year Mullens & the guy for the Jags this year Minshew should really suck but don't if being a young QB has anything to do with it .

Ā

Not to mention this is Allens 2nd yr in this scheme !!

Ā

And Tasker also thinks that Dabol is doing a good job & it's just that Josh isn't executing the plays correctly which yes could beĀ part of it but not using Josh's natural athleticism by moving him around on boot legs & Dabol not giving the running game a chance to even get going is killing the offense & Josh's development Ā .

Ā

With the talent on the offensive side of the ball there should be no reason why they can't score at least 24 points a game & i think most of that is on the coaches !

Ā

Ā Tasker along with his cohort need to leave the real analyzing to those more competent ! Given the remaining teams on the schedule I'm not betting on 11 wins & there could be the possibility well never mind i don't even want to go there ...

the only way we get to double digit wins and the playoffs is if the offense figures out how to be somewhere approaching consistent, which to me means running singletary and not asking our QB, line, and WRs to attempt to do something they just aren't good at.

Ā

if we fail to make the playoffs, and even if we do but don't really get the offensive ship corrected, i'm 100% certain Daboll get's sent out the door.
