Wow. I know Valentino Shine Sr.'s son very well. Craziness.

As far as Bills and Sabres players paying for escorts...EVERY PRO TEAM HAS THIS ISSUE.

Its not a big deal as some of you think.

Human trafficking is a big deal.  The pegulas will not tolerate this nonsense, and I deeply respect them for it.  Whoever is involved in this is gone.  As they well should be.

I'm a little less insulated from it than most.  It's...not uncommon.  Disgustingly not uncommon.  Slavery isn't dead.

Yes very common in places like California and NY.  Also in border states.  A lot of what the government calls trafficking is not slavery though.  The term is being abused and it is a shame as real trafficking of slavery is losing its shock factor.

And of coarse politicians that actually use sex slaves can murder everyone and get away with it.

I’m laughing cuz I’m scared crapless this may happen?

Well, the date mentioned in the article is 2015, and there are only what, only 4 or 5 players on the team from before 2017?

Please tell me they are former players!

If the events took place in 2015 or 2016, seems most likely

That was the last date I saw in the article though it doesn't say that it was at that point that she stopped. But she would of been in her late 40's and addicted to drugs so maybe not the current team.

That’s what I thought, at least it seemed to be that way a few years ago when 60 Minutes (as I recall) went into some detail on the trail from Eastern to Western Europe and from rural Thailand to the to the cities and ‘sex tourist’ trade. Organized Kidnapping + pimping, which seems easily a couple levels worse.

IMO .. Using as it is in that article weakens the term.

Totally agree.  Same thing with the word rape...........It's so stupid to conflate things.

Why is the title of this thread as if its been proven there were Sabres and Bills players involved in this? No offense, but with no evidence other than the word of an admitted crackhead thats almost worse than having no evidence...

I'd take this with the largest grain of salt ever made

This isn't human trafficking. It's prostitution.

Saying they were "involved" seems to imply they were involved in keeping her a prostitute, but what she claims is that they were clients. Big big difference there which makes for a misleading article and post by the OP

And again...its her claim...i could claim i am a billionaire but that doesn't make it true. Its an utter disgrace that simply saying something these days makes it true with absolutely no evidence to back it up and reporters will try and make it sound like its all true without bothering to even investigate further...ss if a crackheads word is the gold standard for evidence...this article is an embarrassment to good reporting the way it is written and should never have been published.

It is human trafficking.  Don’t confuse it with smuggling.

Umm...ordering an escort is not human trafficking

That's like calling a weed smoker a drug trafficker

See the prior post.  Those who paid for her services supported human trafficking.

Yeah but intentions and knowledge of a situation count. Virtually all escorts list their services like they're independent. How can you hold someone accountable for that? They should receive the same punishment as anyone else who is caught paying for an escort.

Again in comparison...if player 'John Doe' smokes weed then he is buying it from a criminal (assuming he purchased illegally). If the money trail comes to show that Al Queda was benefiting from the marijuana trafficking should John Doe now be treated as if he is supporting terrorism?
