I personally think the whole buying o line gifts thing has gone too far. It sounds like Darnold tried to buy something and the effort was there. For them to do that after someone gave them a gift is uncalled for. If someone did that to me, it would definitely be in the back of my mind going forward. Not sure if that is the tone you want between your o line and QB, especially one as good as Darnold.
