True and that's why he hasn't returned to the US as he likely won't be granted whistelblower protections. You don't have to be a whistleblower to make the public aware of the governments broad surveillance powers under the Patriot Act including their ability to access your personal information through cloud computing. The changes made to the Patriot Act (now USA Freedom Act) pry wouldn't of happened without Snowden's revelations because of the public backlash that ensued. What's funny to me for people like Nunes that are crying over the ease of renewing Page' FISA warrant as a way to spy on Trump had no problem defending the Patriot Act's broad surveillance power over the years.
