This would be a bigger sellout than what he did to aipac. And telling.

If Booker won’t stand by educational opportunities for those not fortunate to live in posh zip codes, no Dem candidate will.

Warren already flipped.

It's simple, he needs to not only take sashaying lessons but brush up on the art of blackface. Maybe he could get this guy to give him tips on facial expressions:

"Vote for me and I'll change the weather in Iowa" is some Obama-level pandering.

.

Have these clowns even given serious thought to what they are saying?  Warren's plan most likely is to put a lot of suffering on the backs of the little people.  The elites will still have their steak, drive their 100K plus SUV's, and private jets while the farmer will have to hitch his son and daughter to the equipment if he wants to produce a crop.  Only a fool (Tibs) would believe she can affect meaningful change outside the US border.

Biden, like HIllary is in no way shape or form able to physically take on a real Presidential campaign

and this is still way before it's even 5% intense...

LOL

I think Hilary had legitimate health problems she and the DNC tried desperately to cover up in 2015 and 2016.  I don't fault her for aging.  I fault her for the commitment to cover it up and pretend there's nothing to see there.

While I agree with you that I don't think Biden has the energy to do any better than Clinton did, I'm guessing given the lead he's got already, he's waiting for the pack to thin out closer to the primary.  Why burn the energy and money when the field is still filled with a lot of never will be's?  If the DNC were smart and it's clear they are not, they'd start culling this herd sooner rather than later so they party can coelesce around 1-2 candidates.  There's no reason why Klobuchar, Hillenbrand, Booker, etc. are still running around wasting donor dollars.

That's the entire Clinton experience in a nutshell: ***** themselves over with coverups of stupid *****.

telling the truth for once would be a good strategy for the Clintons and the Dems

saying she had an illness and needed a week away would be eyebrow-raising but okay

They went after the Trump foundation, maybe this is proactive on Biden's part to not give the Rs a chance to go after his foundation?

And Swalwell? Let's just say it's a good thing he's pretty because he's certainly doesn't appear to be too bright.

. @KamalaHarris talking up #MedicareForAll says 91% of doctors are already in the Medicare system & therefore you won't (likely) lose him/her in a single-payer plan --> "The odds on favorite is you will be able to keep your doctor."

Anyone have an actual number on that? My family in the medical field are mostly specialists and Medicare is a no go.

They're referring to primary care physicians.  Last study that was done was in 2015 so take it with a grain of salt.  There's other surveys that show little difference between specialists accepting medicare compared to primary doctors.

Medicaid is another animal as fewer doctors take medicaid because of the lower reimbursment rate compared to private insurance.  The percentage of doctors who take medicaid aren't that different compared to 20 years ago but there are more people are on medicaid now so it's a bigger problem.

My sister-in-law was enrolled in Medicare, she couldn't find a pulmonologist anywhere in the Metro DC area.  Her daughter was in it, and couldn't find an orthopedist to set a broken wrist (there were two in her county who took Medicare - one, the ER doc she saw, was forbidden to treat her outside the ER due to conflict of interest as a "self-referral."  The other was his partner, and couldn't see her for the same reason.)

Because - again - health coverage is not health care.

Dem playbook:

1st down - Trump bad

2nd down - Buy votes with other people's money

3rd down - More government control

4th down - Punt from their own 1 yard line

DNC makes it more difficult to qualify for 3rd debate.

The debate is set for Sept. 12 and could extend to a second night, Sept. 13, if enough candidates meet the threshold to participate. The location and moderators have not yet been announced.

Like the first two Democratic presidential debates — which are set for next month on NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo and for July on CNN — the September debate and a fourth, to be held in October, will cap participants at 10 per night.

But it will be more difficult for the nearly two dozen 2020 Democratic hopefuls to make the stage.

Unlike the first and second rounds of debates, when candidates must cross either a donor or polling threshold to qualify, candidates will need to surpass both bars to make the stage for the third and fourth debates. For the September event, candidates will have to hit 2 percent in four qualifying polls, versus 1 percent in three polls for the first debates, and they will need 130,000 individual donors, up from 65,000.

Although the polling threshold increase is modest, it could represent a significant barrier for many candidates who have struggled to hit that mark in early polling.

Interesting that the fundraising qualifier is determined by the number of individual donors, rather than total donations received. If that incentivizes candidates into going after any fringe Democrat voter with a few dollars to spare, the results shouldn’t fail to amuse.

Which is fine, really.  They have to have at least one serious debate that's not all Swalwelled up.
