alex smith for Glenn makes sense.  Chief are going to get rid of Smith if they can get a solid but risky tackle for him why not roll the dice.  I doubt he has a ton of guaranteed money left.  Smth has two years left on his deal.  This make him ideal .  If they draft one this year great, if not they have another year to figure it out.  and yes Smith is an upgrade over Taylor

You think the Chiefs would unload Smith, who has two years under contract for....Cory Glenn, an LT with bad feet??

The area will have major development.  Kc wants picks not a player.   Glenn is not going to kc. We would get the player, they would get the picks.  Possible snag will be round.  We will not give them back their first period but will to get second round in Sammy trade and possibly fifth rounder

I am not giving up a second round pick for Smith.  How can they pay him 15 million to be a back up .

Although I wouldn't be giddy over overpaying Cousins, anytime I see that someone knows that Tyrod will be gone ... well that DOES make me giddy.

Personally, I couldn't care less about the location of the new stadium, but I do realize it's very important/impactful to many.

Any word on if a dome is even a possibility?

Pay Cousins franchise money to go between 7-9 and 9-7 every year?

No thanks we already can do that just fine with Taylor.

I'm going to demand franchise results from a player demanding franchise money.  He just hasn't produced anywhere close to those results other than in his stats.

Something like the Atlanta Braves development with 65 acres of bars and restaurants and a hotel surrounding the stadium would be very cool.

I can confirm that the Bills really like Cousins and Darnold. However what i have been told Rudolph is also well liked in the Scouting Department along with Rosen. Yes they also like Allen.

Tying to get anything on Dennison from my friend is like pulling teeth.

However my other Buddy that works for another Organization says there is a general feel around the league that Dennison will be fired

No Baker Mayfield, eh?  Good!

I'm liking this regime more and more.

People are acting like contingency plans aren't a thing. He said the Bills have a Plan A to get Cousins and a slew of other options in case that fails. Nothing wrong with that. We can't confirm or refute any of it yet, and may never, but saying that this guy is covering his ass in case he's wrong seems to not understand that the Bills have to cover their's in case their Plan A isn't available anymore.

If any of this is to be believed, then we must also believe that any number of Bills employees are telling any number of friends and family very inside info, with complete abandon....yet somehow, not one member of the press has any whiff of this?

Folks, it's Buffalo. Not Atlanta. About 6 million population as opposed to 1.2 million.  And no, "proximity to Toronto" ain't gonna fly.

It doesn’t have to be on that scale, and it probably couldn’t be to accommodate the tailgate stuff too, but something along those lines would be cool.

The media are on the take. They are busy snapping up auto junkyards and crumbling warehouses "east of Buffalo" to cash in when the stadium plans are revealed and that garbage land is suddenly valuable. See ... it's all making sense now, isn't it?

Exactly.  There are no guarantees.  Read the si article on cousins and ask yourself is that a McDermott guy. Heck yes. But if washing ton fransxhise him, what is our next option

I don’t really care much about a one time Super Bowl event. I don’t really get why people care so much. I’ve lived in Super Bowl towns, and been to one game. It’s cool, but it’s certainly not the be all and end all. Get the year in, year out decisions right.

Stadium will be open air with 67000 with roughly 75 luxury boxes.  Built east of Buffalo. Property around area being gobbled up.  Again, my investment banker friend is working many of the deals.  Follow the money.  Owner committed to tailgating atmosphere and easy access in and out. Kyle is leaning toward returning.  Loves McDermott.  Sam Bradford is in the mix but very low option.    Joe Webb will have bigger role this week.   We are looking to free up more money.  Will be more active in free agency than before.  Will go after experienced Qb for back up regardless who is under center.   Want to get draft picks for Taylor and Glenn they will be lower round but package to move up.  McDermott and Beane had major disagreement over keeping Holmes, decasse and not releasing them for compensatory pick.  Beane wanted extra third rounder to make move.   Smoke starting in Kansas City.  Source says teams are talking regarding player and draft picks.  Won’t speculate right now because people will hate on me. When it becomes more solid, I will pass on

OK, so the only immediately verifiable prediction is the bolded one. If Joe Webb takes a dozen snaps this weekend I'm cashing out my 401k and buying any and every parcel of land east of Buffalo.

I have it from a reliable source,  Tyrod will be under center.  Peterman will not be ready.  Injury more serious than believed. Webb will be back up. Logan Thomas taking snaps as emergency qb

This is definitely not the case with NP limited in practice today.

the first time the local Buffalo bills media break a bills story will, well be the first time

This is true. Plunk down your $2.99 and read all about how goofy McD looked in his visor!  There really is no serious investigative reporting.

It will not be 12snaps but a package has been developed for s certain situation.  Don’t be shocked if he throws for a score.

Peterman limited correct

Dunkirk, I'm officially intrigued.  I have no idea if this is wild speculation, a solid inside source running wild, or something else. All I know is that IF there is a Bills stadium plan getting close to official release, the first signs of it would be the kinds of things you're talking about - local politicians and developers making sure that they're in on the ground floor before the team starts shaking down the taxpayers for money.

The new stadium will be incorporated into the existing Summit Park Mall.

‘Wheatfield Bills’, nice ring.

Lol,not too far from there.

On a serious note, a developer with ties to many political people had purchased all the land in Niagara Falls near the Seneca Niagara Casino. There’s nothing left to buy. That area is on the short list for a stadium.

Its never ever going to be built South of Buffalo. There are traffic issues with any location, especially in downtown Buffalo. There has to be major upgrades to roads and other infrastructure.

You probably can only take out half but it will be good investment. Stadium will be part of an entertainment complex.  People will be shocked when location announced??

Don, answer this at least. Is it within the City of Buffalo proper, or in the suburbs? And if you can’t answer that, is there a smaller hint you can give us?

They are all investing.  If people on this site would spend less time ripping me and more time looking at who and where the property is being bought, you will see that I am right.  People that are selling the land are getting ripped off because the land is being bought by investment groups and they hide the investors.  There are relatives of nfl players in one of the investment group thus the ties to wny

The surrounding complex in Atlanta is, while on a much larger scale I’d expect, better than the actual stadium IMO. I try to only go on the 280+ games when there is NOT baseball, for the most part.

Thanks, Don.  These are really fun reads...fiction or non-fiction makes no difference to me.  If you are a kick-butt insider than thanks for posting this stuff.  If you are a fiction writer, I am enjoying it anyway!

Traffic in and out of Niagara Falls would suck donkey balls.
